Chapter 15 - It's Happening
Percy's POV
It's happening. Today it's happening. I'm marrying my Wise Girl.
"Ok, Percy you got this." I told myself looking into the mirror hanging on my cabin wall, "Just don't screw things up today. Yeah you can do that." I knew I was telling myself a lie, trouble followed me everywhere. I was interrupted from my thoughts when there was a knock on the door. I heard the it creek open and turned around to see who it was. I turned and found my mom smiling kindly at me as she stepped through the door of the Poseidon cabin, yes Chiron actually allowed our mortal parents to come today, how awesome is that?! Anyways, her smile might have been kind, happy, and encouraging but under it I could tell she was bursting with excitement.
"Hi mom." I greeted with a smile.
"Oh Percy, i'm so proud of you!" she said, her excitement spilling out.
"Thanks mom." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
My mom pulled me into a big hug that lasted for what seemed like forever, but then again I have ADHD so who knows how long. My mom pulled out of our hug when there was a knock on the door. Whoever it is behind that door. I thought, Is my savior! Turns out my saving grace, was a god, but not just any god...
Poseidon, my dad, opened the door and peered in smiling at my mom and I. Him and Athena might hate each other but unlike Athena, he is totally fine with mine and Annabeth's relationship. Even though no Half-Blood admits it, not even me half the time, he is the coolest dad I could ever ask for, even now seeing him, I couldn't help but smile. "Hey dad." I greeted my big smile still plastered on my face.
"Percy," He smiled in return. "Good luck."
"Like luck every wanted to help me before" I mumbled
At that moment Jason burst through the door and was about to say something until he noticed his surroundings. "Oh, I'll just come back later..." he said, backing away to the door.
"No, no, we should get going." My mom said walking towards the door and leaving the cabin.
Poseidon gave me one last reassuring smile and a wink before exiting the cabin as well.
Jason cleared his throat. "So everyone's ready."
I nodded "Yeah, ok just let me try and fix my hair, again."
"Bro we both know, no matter how many times you try nothings gonna happen, not even Aphrodite could fix it!" He deadpanned
"Yeah, yeah, I know" I mumbled "I'll be out in a second." I said a bit louder this time, so he could hear me.
"Ok" he said before going to gather the others.
I looked in the mirror once more not even bothering to try and fix my messy hair.
"Ok, I know trouble follows me everywhere but could you three maybe just lay low for today?" I whispered to the sky, or in this case the cabin roof, hoping the fates got the message. I turned to the door ready for what this day would hold. You got this Percy. And with that I was on my way to marry my one and only.

Sooooooooooooooooo sorry! Oh my gods guys you do not even know how sorry I am, these first 2 weeks of school i've been really busy adjusting not only to Covid regulations but also high school life. I promise the chapters will come quicker!
