Day 1: Aquarium
(Aight, Day 1! Hopefully, I stay committed to this calendar and not abandon it, lmao. Anyways, enjoy the one-shot!
BTW, I'll be referring the Author into the Narrator from now on. So the Author's POV will now be the Narrator's POV. Okay? Thanks!)

Narrator's POV
It was a pleasant Sunday morning as Yashiro walked along the streets of the neighborhood. One would think that she was walking alone, but no. She was accompanied by what some people call an 'Apparition'; a ghost. His name was Hanako, and they've been friends for a while. Or at least, Yashiro thought they would be friends.
The thing is, Hanako has had a crush on the girl ever since they first met. And he has been wanting to confess to her for a while now, too. But for now, he just has to wait.
Aight, back to the story.
Where are they going, you might ask? There has been an opening to a new aquarium, and Hanako and Yashiro want to check it out. Yet the first time they met, Yashiro had quite an experience with fish herself. But she ultimately decided to overcome that to see the new aquarium. Of course, having a ghost come along might raise suspicion, so they had another friend come along with them.
"Oh hey!" Kou waved at the two from his house. The yellow-haired boy had also been their friend for a while. But unlike Yashiro, he and Hanako's first meet hasn't been so...friendly.
(A/N:Those who watch the anime/read the manga know what I mean)
He walked up to them with a duffel bag in his arm, "So are you guys ready to go?" he asked casually. "Of course we are!" the ghostly boy replied as he hovered over the ground. "Hopefully nothing bad happens while we're at the aquarium..." Yashiro fretted. Hanako chuckled at her comment, "Like that's ever gonna happen! As long as I'm here, we'll be fine!" he grinned. "Alright then, let's go!" Kou said cheerfully.
At the Aquarium
"Welcome to the Sendai Umitamago Aquarium! Explore the wonderful sights and enjoy your time at the all new aquarium!" The announcer said through the speakers as people admired the fish through the glass tanks.
As the three went inside they were immediately amazed by the interior of the place. Everything from the fish tanks to the decorations, it was all so majestic to them! "There's a cafe joint, a river zone, and there's even an outdoor pool!" Yashiro exclaimed as she read the map given to them at the entrance.
"Well, where to first?" Hanako asked. "The Wonder Zone, of course!"Kou suggested excitedly. "No! To the Cafe! I want to see what they have there!" Yashiro retorted. "One minute in this place and you're already hungry?!" Kou said back and scoffed. "No wonder you have daikon legs..." Yashiro gasped at the insult and yelled back, "You take that back!"
The two bickered for a bit until Hanako finally said, "Okay, how about we explore the Wonder Zone then go to the cafe afterward. Sounds good?" The two grumbled a bit but agreed to the choice. "Alright fine..." "But you pay for the food when we get to the cafe, alright?" "LIKE I'M PAYING FOR THAT!"
A Few Minutes Later...
Walking along the large fish tanks feels like walking through an art museum! From the fish swimming through the water gracefully to the sea plants flowing on the floor, all and more with an alluring sight. Yashiro, Kou, and Hanako walk along the tunnels impressed by the beauty, still not getting tired of it at all.
The trio took a long walk along the River Zone, then took a break at the cafe with Yashiro being the happiest at the cafe. Then they visited the outside pool, and Hanako messing with some of the kids there with pranks and was able to get away with it. Yashiro and Kou witnessed the pranks and were pissed at him, though. Hanako and Yashiro had their awkward moments (with Kou third-wheeling the two), but either way, the three had fun!
Oh yeah, back to the ship.
Walking through the tanks again, Hanako and Yashiro admired the fish as they swam happily. Kou was busy taking pictures of the fish to keep as souvenirs with a camera he brought in his duffel bag. While he was doing that, the two stood in front of a large circular tank with a large tree in the middle of it. All sorts of fishes circled around it as many other visitors and tourists admired the sight.
(something like this)
"Wow, this is really amazing..." Yashiro said in awe as she placed a hand on the glass of the tank. Hanako smiled as he glanced at her for a short second. The silence was cut short when Yashiro asked silently, "When you said you would protect me no matter what, did you really mean that?" The ghost was caught in surprise by that question, but not that much so he didn't seem alarmed by it.
"Of course I would! At all costs!" Hanako said in response. "...why would you ask?" "Well, I always seem to put you in danger, don't I?" Yashiro replied. "To have you risk my life for me so many times...wouldn't you be tired of that?" Hanako just looked at her when she said that. So she continued. "What I'm trying to say is... I'm sorry. For the trouble I've caused you,I mean." she apologized quietly.
Well, she had every right to apologize to him. She has caused so much trouble for him ever since they met. But even through all that, Hanako isn't taking any of it.
"Well you don't have to apologize," he said finally standing on the ground, his eyes meeting hers. "Ever since I met you, I have had a special bond with you. So if I must, I will protect you with all I am." he said with determination.
"Yashiro, just know that you mean the world to me." the ghost finally said. The girl smiled back at him softly, as they went back to admire the fish in the tank. Hanako slowly held Yashiro's hand, and withought any thought, the both of them held on tight.
'Till death do we part upon our eternal bond.'
