Narrator's POV

Garroth hummed happily as he groomed himself. Today was the day, he was going on a date with a friend, and her name's Gold. He's had a crush on her for a while now, so you can imagine how happy he was when she accepted his invite. 

Well the thing is, Gold didn't think it was a date in the first place. She thought it was just to hang out with him because the way he said it made it sound like it was a hangout. But he didn't care. 

He prepared which movie to watch, where they would watch it, and planned everything in his power to make it romantic. It might seem like just watching a movie with a friend, but to him, it will be an amorous date.

"Alright my good baby brother, I'm going out!" he announced with pride as he stood by the door. Zane was sitting on the couch watching tv, and he couldn't care less about his date. He overheard Garroth planning his date, and he knew everything could go wrong during the date. But Zane wanted him to learn that himself, so he didn't say anything about it.

"Sure. Be back at 9." he said without looking back at his older brother. But as he said that, Garroth was already gone. He smirked under his mask as he watched the TV and thought, The bigger the failure, the greater the lesson, brother. 

At the 'Date'

It was 7 pm at the time when Gold waited for her friend outside the theater. She wanted to dress up nicely for the occasion, but especially for him. They were never alone together so they never got to talk, so she wanted to make a good impression. Little did she know, she already made a good impression on him. More than good actually, since he got 'Love at First Sight' Syndrome when they first met.

"Oh, hey!" she waved, as Garroth ran up to her. Turns out he was already 10 minutes late and didn't realize it until he left. "H-hey..." he panted as he tried to catch his breath. "You doin' alright?" Gold asked with concern. "Yeah yeah yeah, just...give me a minute..." her friend replied.

He actually did take a minute to catch his breath and feel fine again. Garroth stood up straight and smiled as he said, "So, you look nice," Gold chuckled a bit and replied, "Thanks, I could say the same for you," she said with a smile on her face. Oh gosh, she looks so cute, the blonde thought as he blushed a bit. Well, time to show her your stuff!

"Alright then, let's go, shall we?" he gestured towards the entrance. They entered inside the lobby when Gold asked, "Okay, but what movie are we watching?" "Oh, well, it's called '50 Hues of Black', I think." he answered. Ooh, strike one! With a movie name like that, it's already made the date terrible! Well, too late to back out now cause this is only round one! "Well, I hope it's a good movie," she replied back.

They bought snacks at the stalls before going in (as one does), and they took two seats that were three rows to the front of the movie screen! Bruh, strike two! Those seats are the worst when watching a movie.

The movie starts out okay, yet movies always gotta start out good if they want to attract audiences. But as the movie progressed, it started to slowly spiral down into disaster. So in the movie, the protagonist meets this hot millionaire, right? And as the movie proceeded, he started turning into the protag's stalker! Like, what kind of a movie is this?! But I dunno, this movie made like 570 million dollars, so...follow your dreams, kids!
