Day 8: Faster Car (Aarmau)

Day 8: Drive-Thru Movie

Aphmau drove around town in the new car she received after getting her driver's license. She was very excited when she got it as a congratulations gift and planned to give it a go and explore the town with it.

It was very relaxing driving with the wind flowing through her hair. Kids were playing near the seashore, teens were exploring through shops, and everything was at peace. But among all those people, Aphmau spotted one of her good 'friends', Aaron. The boy was busy looking at his phone while walking, roaming around town without a care. Aphmau was curious and decided to walk (or drive) up to him.

"Hm? Oh hey, Aph. See you're handling your car well," he greeted her as she drove slowly beside him. "Yep, it's a dream! So what're you doing today?" the bubbly girl asked. "Well it's nothin' really, I'm just checking out the movies they have at the drive-thru." Aaron replied. "Wish I could see it, but I don't have a car that I could drive yet."

"Wait, there's a drive-thru movie theater?!" Aphmau gasped. "This is perfect, we can go drive there right now!" "I'm sorry, 'we'?" Aaron questioned, looking at the brunette. "Yeah! You can guide me to the drive-thru and we can go watch the movie together! Whaddaya say?!" she offered with a grin on her face. With a smile like that, Aaron couldn't refuse. He sighed and said "Alright, let's go. They're starting soon, but we can make it." Aphmau couldn't contain her excitement as Aaron sat on the passenger seat next to her.

They drove to the location and (thankfully) made it on time, and were able to watch it the second it was playing. Of course, there were some problems with finding a parking spot, and picking up some food from a nearby restaurant took some time, but still.

The movie progressed, and everything went fine. It wasn't too mature, yet not childish, and was a genuinely fun movie. 'Youngster Seashore Film' was one of the best films they've seen. It was about two siblings filming a movie with friends near the beach, but they learn good morals and bad/good jokes ensue.

Aphmau and Aaron both enjoyed the film and laughed with the rest of the people in the drive-thru. The romantic moments made them blush a bit and, well, UwU OwO moments ensue once again. 

Seriously, what is it with dates having these kinds of moments?

Then again, this is a fluff oneshot I'm writing so, can't complain about irony.

After the movie , almost everyone left the place but Aaron and Aphmau stayed since Aphmau slept a little later after the movie. Aaron didn't want to disturb her sleeping, so he had to wait for her to wake up. 

He sighed as the girl peacefully slept on her seat. As y'all know, he had a crush on Aphmau when an incident happened a long time ago (*wink wonk?*). Maybe she liked him back, maybe she doesn't, but still, it's a gamble either way. What I mean is that the two have always been seen as a couple, even though they denied it dozens of times. I mean they are a good couple ain't they?! 

"If only you knew," Aaron said as he looked at the view around them. "Ever since high school, I've always had feelings for you. The way you laugh and smile through everything you've been through, I admire you for it. But, I wonder if you feel the same way. I mean, I don't want to ruin our friendship because of it, yet even if you like me back or not, I hope you feel the same way..." he said as the sun set on the town. 

"Wait...you have feelings for me?" A voice said.Little did he know, Aphmau was listening to his speech as he admired the sunset. She woke up as soon as he started talking (coincidentally), so she heard the entire thing. Aaron turned around when she asked, "Um...yes..." he confessed, feeling a little embarrassed about saying all those things out loud. "But please don't hate me for it, I still want to be friends after everything we've been through. I just can't deny the emotions I have around you, so-"

He got cut off when Aphmau pecked him on the lips for a bit, with both of them lightly blushing from the moment. "Well, I didn't know you liked me at all." she started saying. "But you've always been by side and you're almost like a brother to me, and I think it's sweet that you like me," "...so what're you saying?" Aaron asked. "Well...I accept your feelings!" she happily said as she hugged him tightly. They both wept tears as they cradled each other in their hug. They were busy in the moment until they noticed two pink-haired girls watching them from afar.

"YAHOO!!! AARMAU IS CANON!!!" Kawaii-Chan cheered as she sat on a mat near the theater holding up binoculars. "Th-That's right...You cuddle them!" Rainbow said as she sat with KC on the mat while letting a few tears fall from her cheeks. It turns out, both of them were also listening to their conversation when they were watching the movie. Neither of them could afford a car, so they had to use a mat to watch them from afar.

The two felt a bit awkward from  KC and Rainbow watching them, but they didn't mind. They pulled away from the hug and Apmau said, "So...are we girlfriend and boyfriend now?" Aaron smiled softly and answered, "I think we are, Aphmau,"

"I think we are."

Just know that I am hiding this from my parents since they don't want me doing these sorts of things, but whatever! I am writing oneshots and pleasing my viewers!
