Day 10: Zoo

Ah, yes. Peace and quiet.

Just sitting on the couch, relaxing all day...

...was what he wished he was doing.

Zane waited at the front entrance of a local zoo, where he would meet his friend Kawaii-Chan and hang out there. The brunet would rather just chill at home by himself, but the girl insisted that they'd go. He had no choice since she wouldn't stop bothering him about it, so he agreed. 

Hands on his pockets, he waited contently for his friend. The thing is, he was just confused about why she would be late at a time like this. They planned on meeting at 8 AM and usually, Kawaii-Chan would show up as soon exactly when the clock ticked the time, but she was late. But not very late, like for half an hour, just, more than a minute late.

After 5 minutes Kawaii-Chan finally appeared, running up to Zane at top speed, but she wasn't alone. Running up behind her was a red-jacketed brunet with emerald-green eyes. He and Kawaii-Chan were racing towards the entrance, but the meifwa ended up crashing towards him with them ending up on the hard pavement.

"Aw dangit, I lost!" the boy she was racing said in defeat while he caught up to them as he put his hands on his knees in exhaustion. "...you guys okay?" he said in concern, finally catching his breath. "Ow! I am so sorry, Zane-kun!" Kawaii-chan apologized as she stood up. The brunet stood up as well saying, "Agh, could you please watch where you're going next time?" he then turned to the boy and pointed at him saying, "Also who the heck is he?!" he said a bit loudly.

"Oh, yeah! Kawaii-Chan thought of bring a friend, so I brought Draco-Kun along with us!" she proclaimed as she gestured to the jacketed boy. "Sup?" he said dorkily. Zane brushed his hoodie and said, "Why would you bring someone else? Dealing with you is already fine enough!" "Aw come onnnn, the more the merrier!" Kawaii-Chan whined, putting her hands on his shoulders behind him. "Yeah, I wanna see some animals!" Draco exclaimed.

The brunet groaned in frustration and said, "Fine, he can come with us. It's too late to send him home now, ain't it?" "Yes!" Draco pumped his fists in the air, with Kawaii-Chan grabbing the two by the arm, "Come on, then! I can't wait!" she declared, dragging them inside the zoo.

The rest of the day, Kawaii-Chan and Draco tried making it fun for Zane, ending up failing in the process. They eventually gave up and spent the day together exploring the zoo. 

The first attempt they did was going to the section where they had horses, since, you know, MLP. Kawaii-Chan told this fact to Draco and he wheezed the entire time they were there holding on to the fact that he liked the show. Zane, meanwhile, put up his hoodie in embarrasment at the time while Kawaii-Chan tried to calm Draco down. She still hasn't regretted telling him that, tho.

After that, they went to the aquarium, the place where they kept the sea animals in. "WHY AREN'T THERE ANY MERMAIDS HERE?!" was what Draco screamed when they explored. Him and KC were complaining about the fact that there were no mermaids in the aquarium with Zane explaining (or at least trying) to them that mermaids ain't real.

They took a break at a nearby cafe, with Zane finally having satisfaction from ordering some cupcakes. Draco stole some from him, getting away with it, with Kawaii-Chan sippin' her coffee  with some sugar she keeps in her person she sprinkled in her drink.
