Day 6: The Stillness of Love (Dekuraka)

Day 6: Good Movie

Okay, this is it... no turning back! Deku thought to himself as he walked through the school halls. Today was the day where he would ask out his friend to the movies. He felt like today was the day and, as he said, there's no turning back.

Before class started he placed his bag on his chair and walked up to his friend.  Ochako Uraraka was talking with her other friends as Deku walked up to them. "Hm? Oh good morning, Deku!" she greeted the green-haired boy. "Hey, Uhm..." he mumbled in his words. "Hey, is there something wrong?" Ochako asked. "Well...you see.." he mumbled again, but this time he's starting to heat up. 

"Hey, can you speak up? We can't hear ya," Jirou chimed in with a sarcastic-like tone. Almost everyone in the class was listening to their conversation and were waiting for what Deku wants to say. "Um...what I'm trying to say is... will you go out with me?!" he finally asked, with the last few words louder this time. Everyone was surprised at what he said, with the person he asked being the most surprised. 

"Wait-you mean on a date?!" the (almost literally) bubbly girl said in shock. "Y-yeah...there's this new movie in the cinema's, and I was wondering if... if you would... like to check it out with me...?" the broccoli boi stuttered in his words, but the class could hear him loud and clear. 

"Well...if you put it like that...I would love to check it out with you!" Ochako said, almost flustered as she said it. "Okay...will 6 pm be alright?" Deku asked, and without hesitation, she replied with, "Yeah, I'll wait for you there!" "Alright!"

The bell chimed right after they said that, and everyone went back to their seats as they started class. Welp, he did it. He asked her out. On an actual date. Big shock, right? I mean it's not like I'm here typing away this oneshot suffering from the fact that they're all supposed to be about dates...right?

Right?

Oh yeah, back to the story.

I can't believe it...I actually did it...I asked her out! The boy thought to himself again as their teacher began...well, teaching. Soon after school, they would go to the movies together and it would all be fluff and diabetes, blah blah blah happy ending. Amirite? Oh my gosh... Deku actually asked me out on a date! And would you look at that, Ochako is thinking the same thing! They will definitely not get flustered on the date at all, right?

After School, 6:13 pm

It was late afternoon as Deku waited outside the cinema for his date. He can't believe he was doing this, but he is. About a few minutes later Ochako arrived wearing something very nice. She wore a suspender dress with a white shirt, with her usual black socks and shoes. She looked amazing! Himself, on the other hand, was wearing a teal green sweater with jeans and (of course) his usual shoes.

"Hey...you look...""Wonderful? Thanks, it was one of the only things I could find..." Ochako said, taking the words out of Deku's mouth. "Well, shall we?" He gestured to the entrance, and both of them went inside the cinema. Alright laddies and gentlebois grab your cotton candy and MHA pillowcases cause this is gonna be one heck of a fluffy rollercoaster!

The two went over to the movie theater snacks in hand and ready to watch the movie. They sat down near the center of the screen. Thankfully they arrived in time, since the movie is already starting, and starting out good like their date.

As the movie progressed, the couple started having their 'you know what' moments where one or both of them does some cheesy/awkward/accidental romantic gesture and it's all UwU or OwO or something like that

I dunno, I'm just tryna finish this oneshot...

Oh yeah, like how they both held hands without realizing it. Or that time where they went to reach for the popcorn at the same time and they accidentally held hands (again). They were subtle awkward moments, but that didn't stop them from watching the movie together.

After the movie, they went outside to where they had to part ways and go back to their homes. "Hey, I'm glad you asked me out on this date," Ochako said. "Really?" Deku said, getting a quick response, "Well, yeah. The movie was nice and I enjoyed being with you there." "Uhm, I could say the same for you," the boy said in response. 

"Yeah, I really enjoy-" he started saying, but was cut off when Ochako pecked him on the cheek. He got flustered and started running away for some reason. "YOUREWELCOMEIHOPEWECANDOTHISAGAINSOMETIIIMEEEE-" he screamed as he ran back to his house, leaving Ochako by herself.

But she wasn't upset by that. She smiled and walked back to her house. It was really sweet of him to ask her out like that, and hopefully they will do this again soon.

Alright, done with this one! Sorry if it's a bit short, I'm half in the mood to not do this right now and I have no idea why I decided to do this in the first place! Hopefully I have the energy to actually make a fluent oneshot, but this is what y'all have for now, readers.
