"Test, test. Can you guys hear me?"
"Yes, Athy, it's very clear."
I was so surprised when I saw a brand new microphone in my room this morning. I totally forgot to ask daddy about it but he seemed to know I needed a mic for my online classes so he got one for me.
My classes haven't started yet so I'm currently on a call with them for a mic test.
"Actually, I don't think it's necessary to do a mic test. I'm sure your dad made sure it's in the best quality before giving it to you."
"Lucas is right, but it's still best to test it out first. Your dad is a human no matter what. Mistakes can be made."
Ijekiel always managed to twist his sentence to get on my side somehow, even though he clearly stated Lucas was right.
"Anyway, we should get ready for class. Thanks for helping me out."
"Bye bye, Athy."
[Jennette left the call]
"..."
"What now?"
"Now what?"
"Right, class. Where's the link?"
"The teacher didn't send it."
"Duh, there's like... 2 minutes more."
"We should get ready."
[Ijekiel ended the call]
Sigh. I forgot. Ijekiel is an excellent and would always be punctual to every class. I thought it was just because of Mr. Whitey but seems like he'll be punctual on online classes too.

"You do not have any reason to be late for online classes."
Right, there's that point too. Looks like I'll still need to wake up early everyday.
