"no sirius you can't have ice cream for dinner"
"but whyyy!" sirius screws his eyes shut, tugging wildly at his hair.
"because you are ill"
"my throat hurts! i want ice cream remmy" he pouts, turning his puppy dog eyes on me.
"you will eat your soup sirius black"
"nooooo! i hate you!" he kicks his legs like an impatient five year old.
"in that case i'll just go..." i smile gently, trying to get up and-
"NO DONT YOU DARE LEAVE" he grabs my tie, putting a quick end to any plan of moving.
"interesting tactic" i chuckle, placing his steaming bowl of broth on his bedside table as he cups my face in his hands.
"i'm not going to kiss you sirius" i laugh as he strokes my lips gently, a small smile forming on his own.
"why ever not?" he grins cheekily, tilting his head like an inquisitive bird
"because i don't want to catch your rotten cold"
"am i not worth catching a cold over?" he raises an eyebrow. i lean in an place a singular, soft kiss on his chapped lips.
"does that answer your question?"
"do it again" he whispers as i stroke his face gently. brushing my lips against him once again, it hardly feels like it's grazing them, but even at he slightest touch, i feel fireworks go off inside me.
"i love you" he mumbles before lightly pushing his tongue in my mouth. he runs his hand up my spine gently while i trace my fingers through his silky hair. as he wraps his tongue around my own i realise he tastes like vanilla... vanilla ice cream....
"you calculating little scoundrel" i break away from him laughing "you've already had ice cream and tried to get me to bring you more!"
"what can i say?" he chuckles, sniffling very cutely "you caught me"

i stare into his enchanting grey eyes, just admiring how perfect each speckle of blue is in them as he paws gently at my chest like a puppy.
"now sirius" i grin "eat. your. soup."
