Since Supergirl left, the DEO works harder to keep National City safe. Alex Danvers brutally works to keep her mind clear from the ideas about Kara would never come back. Kara was deeply hurts on the day she left, she lost Mon-EL and at the same time she lost her very best friend, Lena Luthor. Lena can't take it easy when she found out her best friend is always have been a Supergirl. The feeling that she often got betrayed by people around her just cant make her accepted whatever Kara said to her about the reason why she's hiding her identity for more than two years. And the fact that almost everyone on the circle know about Kara is Supergirl is make it worse. Lena just cant take it..
She's angry.. she's broke.. she said the things she shouldn't have said. She broke Kara's hearts into pieces. She dont want Kara being around her anymore, it's just nothing left..
And now when the time that she really lost Kara, she just dont know what to feel. She got Kara resignment document on her desk just the day after they fight. And since then Lena never found Kara again, Kara just left like she's never exist before. And Lena start to play dead. She's a good actress after all. Being a Luthor means that you have to be able to hide every emotions you feel and lock it in to the box, then burn it in the deepest place of her heart. She's always turn off the television everytime the news telling about Supergirl is missing. Supergirl's face is all around.. the riot on the streets.. calling for Supergirl to comeback. It's hurts very much everytime Lena have to hide it, pretending that everything'a okay and she would be just fine and this too shall pass. That is just the other betrayel that happens in her life. She have to always remind her self that happiness is just a myth. But sometimes, she wondered why Kara just left, part of her cant take it if she's the reason why Kara left, she just can't get it. Yes Kara lose Mon-el from the last tragedy, maybe thats the only reason why Kara left, because no place on this earth that she can found Mon-El. But here, she also have another life to cherish, another people that love her so much and Lena just cant find the right reason for her to left and she end up hating Kara for being so selfish. There are Winn, James, Nia, J'onn and Alex. A special credit to Alex Danvers, she always love Kara no matter what, that endless support, that loving care, that possesive gesture, maybe at first it makes no sense when Lena try to re-call her memory about how Alex Danvers always being so protective to Supergirl. It makes sense if its Kara Danvers, but Kara is the same person as supergirl. And Alex is only human. She can't count how many times Alex is being so vocal about Supergirl around the days they working to same project at DEO. Yes Lena sometimes being called by DEO for helping them with same project and not only for once Alex Danvers talk to her personaly to help supergirl into something. Something like making a new suit for Supergirl to protect her from kryptonite or anything thats smells like that. Sometimes Lena just wondered if Alex is having a crush on supergirl but when she found Alex dating a hot detective with the killer dimples, all the hypothesis went away. And everything is make sense now. Sometimes Lena's heart being so sick by everythings that happen. When people around her really love each other like how Alex loves her sister so much and what she got just a shit. A piece of shit. Always and always..
Kara have choices to tell her the truth but she choose not to. And now when Lena regret enough for not letting Kara explain it to her, she now already lose that chance. Deep down inside she frankly dont really need that explanation. She knows she would forgive Kara at the end. But now, that day would never come.
Maybe she lose Kara for forever..
It's 02:00 AM when Lena sip her scotch on her office, all alone. She can feels the room of her office moving around, her eyes blurred, papers on her desk look overlapping look, and her stomach feels so hot when she suddenly just cant remember when the last time she eat a proper food. Her dizzy head went worse, her hands shaking. Once again she took a gulp on the scotch just like it can help but it surely dont, everything's getting worse when Lena found her self totaly blackout.

Lena feels the warmth on her cheek. Someone's thumb was pressing in to her skin, softly, in the way that possible enough to make her remember about her biologic mother, and the others fingers slip inside her hair, just right on her left ear. The smell of something unfamiliar is in the air. Not the perfume she can recognize. And the comfort touch on her wrist just seconds before she open her eyes. She saw Alex Danvers kneel before her and it looks like she still on the same place she can remember, but only at different position. She lying down on her office's couch with Alex Danvers was only inches in front of her, holding an injection on her right hand.
"Hold on. It wouldn't be hurt." Alex holds her gently and in a very quick movements Alex is finish to put something under her skin, by the needle.
"I hope you don't mind. It just antibiotics to relieve your pain."
"It is hurt here, and here? "
Alex's right hand press her skin softly right above her stomach.
Yes it's hurts..
She didn't answer to Alex and Alex seems like didn't need the answer.
And at the moment she tooks her hands away from Lena's body, the warmth feeling just gone.
"What... happen?" She murmured. She found a craked on her on voice that she cant even recognize her own voice.
"Your assistance is calling me when she found you like this on your own couch"
Alex choose like this words to describe her mess instead of saying the truth, well yes Alex always being so polite.
She doesn't wear her suit tonight, of course, its the middle of the night. Her jacket is familiar, eventhough its rarely to see Alex now on her casual shirt after hearing her breaking up with Maggie, it's almost everytime Alex being on her combat suit, work hard as hell just to escape the pain she feels inside, its often she heard from Kara that Alex now sometimes always put her self on dangers and end up got the new scars on her body after every fight with different aliens.. she said she just need to feel pain to cover another pain that makes no sense for people like Lena, she doesn't believe with that kind of love. Not even close.
"But.. why you?" She asked, then she regret it.
Who can be someone else? Kara Danvers is her only friend in National City. Maybe in the universe.
"Maybe your assistant took the wrong Danvers. Yes you know it's just... two Danvers in National city.. and one of them now is gone.. so... "
Lena can hear the sorrow inside Alex voice when she almost mentioned Kara but she just smile, a thin smile that make Lena's heart is hurting more that what Alex said is totaly true that the other Danvers will come straight to her whenever she's in trouble.. how can she dont see it on Kara, how can she doubt her own best friend for all of this. It doesn't meant that she hates seing Alex right now but its just too hurts that she only can see one Danvers in her life from now on.
"You don't have to do this.."
"You're still my friend, Luthor.. with or without Kara.. although from what i hear from my sister that you hate me too for being lie to you, that you are hate me as much as you hate the rest of people..."
"No, i dont.."
"It's okay. I dont mind. But you..."
"Agent Danvers, i dont. Yes i am.. but now i just dont want to blame you for the things that happen. I just deserve this. I'm a Luthor.."
"Yes you are a Luthor, thats how i call you Lena. But sometimes.. you have to let your heart see what you eyes cant"
Alex look in to lena eyes. Its darkening. Alex never been so close to Lena before. She just realize how beautiful that eyes has been despite of the dark shaddow under her eyes. Alex just wondered how many night she passed without a sleep.
"I'm okay. Dont worry about my me.."
"I'm taking you home."
"I'm not going home tonight, not like this.."
"Then i'll stay." the words just came out from Alex's. During this time, she had never been involved with Lena in any personal matters.
"Okay.. i'll call my driver," she said it while trying to wake up but her entire body was so weak even just for moving.
Alex held her back from gettingup by her self.
"I'm on my duty tonight. I ask them to go home. They're only human, Luthor.."
Lena can feel the warmth flowing again over her body when Alex's left hand holding her right hand and Alex's right wrapping around her hips .. holding her not to fall when she is fully standing.
Alex presses her body to Lena's, from the small space Lena can feels Alex's breaths like alcohol. Whiskey.. the hard one only.
"Agent Danvers, you smell like drunk teenager. Am i in a good hands?"
Lena surprise when she caught her self smilling.
"I'm in a bar when your assistent called."
"You dont answer my question."
Her face turned red.
"You even inject me with something," lena added.
"I'm not drunk Luthor. Not even close" Alex murmured while walking towards the exit door.
"Likewise, i am a certified doctor, you're not the only genius here."
Alex rolled her eyes, if only it's not in this situation, she would feel that face was so cute.
Lena was never being so close to Alex, they rarely speaking, only if necessary. Even during the game's night on Kara's home. Alex always busy with caring Kara or hugging Maggie and steal a kiss everytime they can. She never really notice Lena even if they are in the same room and it hurts sometimes.
And now having Alex Danvers being so close with here tonight, it half weird, but it kinda sweet. Now she realize why Kara always mention her sister in every talks they have. There's no way in this world that the strange Danvers would come to save a Luthor from the night.
"Just so you know.. i'll never drive a Limo, so i hope i wont broke it,"

Alex insist to walk her to her penthouse safely, even if She's not holding Lena anymore while they two get in Lena's personal elevator. Lena feels better. She have to thanks Alex for whatever she's inject under her skin. Although she feels a little dissapointed when Alex stop holding her, she just think that maybe she can offer Alex a treat for lunch. Just to make sure they will meet again.
What the hell are you thinking Lena Luthor..
"How you would go home? Your bike is still on L-corp."
Lena looked at Alex's face, notice a dark bags under her eyes. Her face look tired, her eyes looked red, she lost her shines, the shines of Alex Danvers.
"I can call Uber," she just finished her words when she heard the elevator doors open. She just wait for Lena to steeped out the door, saying goodbye then she will return to ground floor and end the night.

Lena froze on her own legs as the doors open.
"Mommy.. i'm sorry.. i can't sleep tonight," he said, sheepishly, realize that her mommy isn't alone tonight.
"Baby...", Lena gasped, staring at the older woman who stand behind the little boy.
The little boy who is holding his brown teddy bear on his chest, and Alex just.. catch the eyes.. that green eyes, Lena's eyes copied in the smaller size on this little buddy, maybe he's around four or five. Alex counting.. thinking..
"I'm sorry ma'am.. Ethan keep saying that he afraid of the clown he saw yesterday on TV. And he wants to waiting for...." the woman haven't finished her words when Lena suddenly cut it.
"It's okay, you may go to sleep. He's with me tonight." she said, just so in controll. Like it's not her, Lena Luthor, the woman who fall down on her couch, very drunk, about one hours ago.
"Agent Danvers, i thought you should come in," she said to Alex who still freezing behind the elevator door.

"Who is coming with you, mom?," he asked.
His little eyes looked at Alex head to toe. Alex still cant totaly got it, but she refuse to deny that this little boy has catched her heart away. Alex melt when she saw that little fingers holding Lena's fingertips, asking for protection, from a clown he just saw on TV.
Alex taking a step closer, kneeling down in front of the kids who being call Ethan.
"I am Special Agent Alex Danvers,"
"Hi," the boy started, studying Alex's face, he's more look like Lena right now.
"And i heard that you afraid with the...clown?," Alex half wisphered.
The boys nodded.
"And you are...."
"I am Ethan Luthor," he said, his face still in confused.
"I tought that you need my protection tonight, although we may don't need a gun to beat that clown," Alex grins, while she removed the gun under her shirt and put it on the table next to elevator doors.
"Wow you have a gun," Ethan said, surprisely, feel amazed on his voice.
"I told you i'm the Special Agent," Alex roller her eyes, offering her right hands to Ethan. "So...May i take you to your bedroom lil boy?"
"Mommy?," he said, asking for permission.
Lena nodded.
Ethan welcome Alex's hand when suddenly Alex lifting him up and saluted him. "So, direct me to your bedroom, lil Boss."

When Ethan finaly falls asleep, Alex steep outside his alloftheblue-bedroom. And found Lena standing in front of the door, with an empty face, staring at Alex like she would just turn back the time if she can...
Lena has change her clothes, she wears tank top and sweatpants, that's sweet..kinda of sexy.. After all these day, Alex always see Lena in dresses and work outfits.
"There's guest room two room from here, on the left side. You may change your clothes inside." Lena said. More like a command.
"Likewise, i thought we should talk at the morning. I am now just so.... tired".
