Lena Luthor and her little secret now being more than a habit to Alex. Between Alex and Lena it's a little more complicated. They need each other in same weird way. Their new friendship is almost perfect, except the fact that they've had sex.
Lena find comfort in Alex, enjoying having the new Kara, the different Kara.
And Ethan never goes through the day without mention Alex. He can't stay too long not seing his best friend. And he will do everything just to watch movie with Alex.

It's Alex Danvers standing there. In front of her lobby, before she reach her driver. It's so familiar to see Alex inside her penthouse. Most of the time Lena saw Alex sitting in her couch, in the dining room, even working on her kitchen, in Ethan's bedroom, falling asleep with storybook cover her face, but seeing Alex Danvers in front of her office, waiting for her, is more like something that will never happen. Remind her a bit of Kara, the one who always show up in her office, even not in front of the lobby, bringing her sunny smile, greet Lena with her enthusiastic voice, a simple ask for dinner or lunch. Just thinking at Kara's smile made her heart a little bit ache. But the time she saw the light smile of Alex, the pain suddenly gone. Make her feel a little bit guilty to Kara about how easy she being distracted by Alex.

When Alex come to her penthouse, it means she's there to meet Ethan. And Alex comes to L-Corp it means she's here for Lena..
"Lena, I'm leaving in three days.." says Alex. She doesn't have idea how her words effect to Lena. Like a fish jumping out the water, breathless..
"I'm going to earth-1. For work..for a mission. Hmmm it's DEO thing." Alex continue, look at Lena's eyes that going darker, she realized what her and this woman had in common. They are afraid to be alone. Their hearts ached at the thought of being lonely. Alex so sure that it's not love. Not something she and Maggie have through. It's just like they find a little paradise in the hopeless place, healing each other's pain, being inseparable, but avoid romance, don't want to plunge their self into something that will caused new wounds, knowing that healing is a really hard thing to do.
"I just don't know how to saying goodbye to Ethan, and you.. "
Alex look at Lena, frowned, confused, because that woman didn't even say a words.
"If i leave without saying a words, or not preparing you for that.. i'll be just like.. Kara.. " Alex explained, dropping her hands to Lena's shoulder.
"However we're friend.. i thought i just need to tell you first," Alex sighed. She could saw Lena eyes teary.
Lena held her breath. Alex just want to hug her but it's the public place and Alex just can't do that.
Lena still in silent. Don't know how to react. Try to process it at the moment. Having panick attack.. inside..
Earth-one.. it doesn't like Alex go to Metropolis or another place that she can just get into her private jet and reach Alex on weekend.
Alex is going to another universe. Just like Kara...
How she can take this..
"Relax..." Alex said, reaching over and grabbing Lena's hand. Put Lena's fingers on hers, and squeeze it. Then Alex smiled at Lena. "It takes time but i'm going back."
Lena felt a spark running up her arm from Alex's touch. She looked over at Alex and watched as Alex pulled her hand back quickly and blushed.
They both were confused. Don't know how to handle the situation. They both are best friend. At least that's how they mention their self, and to Ethan.
"Mind to find a place to talk?"
Lena nooded before they reach to Alex's apartment which is closer from L-corp, by Alex's bike.
Lena feels happy that she finally had a reason to hug Alex on her bike. After Alex 'avoid' her these few weeks. The situation always being akward the moment Ethan falling asleep. If it's not too late Alex will go ahead to go home but if it's too late Alex would lock her self in Lena's guest room or just simply not going out all night from Ethan's bedroom. Everything is more easy if Ethan's around. More natural, like they are a real family...
Alex drive faster, againts the falling rain, Lena push her self closer to Alex, her tears mingled to the rain. Lena thanks to the rain so she able to cry, afraid of tomorrow, wishing that tomorrow would never come.
They walk in silent and Lena feel numb when she feels Alex holding her hand while they walking. She feel so weak that she need someone prepare to catch her if she falls. Alex placed her hand on Lena's waist, hold it with protective gesture. Lena would love it, if the end is not a goodbye. Alex's never did it before. But tonight she's holding Lena just like they are lovers.
Lena close her eyes for a while when Alex opened the door and lead Lena inside.
Her hairs are wet because of the rain, also her very expensive suit.
Alex loves to see Lena in dress, or this kind of suit, it kinda sexy seing the little Luthor sat down in her desk, working on her laptop, being so in control like nothing could distract her emotions.
She leans over the dining table as Alex dries her hair with a towel. Alex took of Lena's work suit, drying Lena's body like a child.
