A/N
Hey fellas I'm back. Yeey!! I know it took more than just a few weeks but hey, what can I say I've been enjoying myself. So whatever, here is your chapter and I hope you enjoy.Lian's POV:
After we left the South Pole, Aang explained me that we were somehow in that iceberg for a hundred years. At first I didn't believe him but I knew that he would never lie to me. It took some time to let it completely sink in but it all made sense. How people are afraid of Fire Nation now more than ever and how there are no waterbenders left in the South Pole.
Knowing that this was all my 'fathers' fault made me furious and I was starting to be ashamed of being a Fire Nation citizen, more likely a firebender.
But then I reminded myself that not all Fire Nation people were like Ozai. There were people who completely disagreed with Ozai's ways and wanted the war to be over. And I would be the representative for them. I would help my brother end this ruthless war and bring a new meaning to firebending. The one my Uncle taught me.
It was actually life and energy but it was abused by my so called great granddaddylord Sozin. People see it as pain and destruction now a days. Not that I was blaming them. From their point of view it was after all-
"Lian? LIAN!" I heard Sokka shout.
"What?" I say coming back to the physical word again.
"Are you with us?"
"Are you awake already?" I ask.
"Yes, thanks to your brother. Now pack up. According to Aang, it's time we hit the road."
"Or the air." I say.
OOOOOO-Time skip brought to you by Sokka's sassy comments-OOOOOOOO
Gurrr
"Hey stomach be quiet okay? I'm trying to find us some food." Sokka said.
I chuckled slightly. Some people talk to themselves. Some talk to their pets, but noooo. Sokka talks to his stomach."Hey who ate all my blubbered seal jerky?!" Sokka yelled. He sounds somewhat frustrated and disappointed. I felt my smile slowly drop from my face.
"Oh that was food? I used it to start the campfire last night. Sorry," I said sheepishly. Sokka grumbled under his breath about stupid firebender kids and delicious campfires. Seriously he is sometimes really hard to understand.
I tuned him out for a bit and started to listen Aang and Katara's conversation.
"Aang, before we get to the temple I want to talk to you about airbenders," Katara said.
"What about 'em?" I cut her off. Aang slightly glared at me for ruining the moment.
"I just want you two to be prepared for what you might see. The Fire Nation is ruthless. They killed my mother. They could've done the same to your people." she said touching her pretty icy blue necklace.
Oh. So the necklace is her mother's.
Then for a sudden I felt sympathetic for her. After all I lost my mom to the Fire Nation too.
Then my mind drifted of what she said about the airbenders. Sure Fire Nation doesn't know where to stop but they couldn't have killed the Air Nomads right? I mean it's a whole nation. Plus I highly doubt that they know how to fly.
