3rd Person POV:

Katara was woken up from her sleep by bright sun rays that were shining to her face. She screwed her face up and pulled her blanket over her head. She didn't want to wake up yet. For once, she wanted her brother Sokka to take some responsibilities and look after their village rather than swinging his spear aimlessly. And then it hit her: Sokka was going fishing today and threatened her that he would go alone if she didn't wake up early. Forgetting her sleepy state, Katara quickly flung her blanket over her bed and looked at Sokka's bed. Yep, just as she thought he was already awake and probably preparing to leave without her. Katara quickly got dressed and sprinted out of her and Sokka's igloo. When she arrived at the shore. Sokka was sitting in his canoe and starting to take off. When he saw Katara, he groaned. "Urgh, Katara you're late again! I swear if you come late again next time, I'm not waiting for you," but nonetheless he allowed his little sister to step into the canoe and they took off.

A few hours later, they still hadn't caught a single fish thanks to Sokka's stunning fishing abilities. At the moment, Sokka had his eyes on a chubby fish that was quite fast. It was swimming near the canoe in circles like it was taunting Sokka. Sokka watched the fish a little more, after examining its movements he mumbled to himself grasping his spear a little tighter,

"It's not getting away from me this time. Watch and learn Katara this is how you catch a fish." Katara rolled her eyes. This was at least the fifth time Sokka was getting ready to strike and it was probably not going to work.

Bored out of her mind, Katara looked away to see another fish swimming up close. She reluctantly took her right glove off and waved her hand around the area where the fish was swimming. To her delight, a small ball of water rose up from the sea, taking the fish with it. Katara smiled

"Sokka look, " she said, "I caught one!" unfortunately, Sokka wasn't in the mood of her little sister rambling about magic bending.

"Shh Katara, you're gonna scare it away" he whispered, "Hmm I can already smell it cookin'." 7

"But Sokka, I caught one," she repeated. But she was ignored by her brother again. That didn't stop her though. She kept waving both of her arms around, trying to get the ball of water above their canoe. She did, but at the worst time possible, Sokka raised his spear and the spear's back poked the fish in the water ball which was floating in the air.

That resulted in getting Sokka soaked wet with some icy cold water and both of the fish escaping. Sokka angrily turned back at his sister who was trying to resist her chuckles. "Why is it that every time, you play with magic water I get soaked?!".

She frowned, her smile disappearing from her face, "It's not magic," she said like a bored teacher lecturing her student, "It's water bending. And it's-" then she got cut off by Sokka "Yeah, yeah and ancient art, unique to our culture, blah blah blah! Look I'm just saying, If I had weird powers, I would keep my weirdness to myself."

"You're calling me weird? I'm not the one who makes muscles at myself whenever I see my reflection in the water." she shot back a playful smirk dancing in her lips.

Then suddenly, their canoe bumped into a medium-sized iceberg. Siblings were thrown back but they quickly recovered. As Katara grabbed both sides of the boat, Sokka grabbed the paddle and tried to break them free from the current they were in.

"Watch out!" Katara hollered. "Go left, go left!". After crashing into several icebergs, their boat got crushed and they were thrown onto another floating ice piece.

"You call that left?" Katara scoffed at Sokka. "You don't like my steering? Well...maybe you should have water bended us, out of the ice." he snapped waving his arms around like an idiot.
