The Dead Alive

A Terrifying Start |Episode 101|

Before this story gets started, I just want to say that you don't have to read this episode if you want to skip to the better parts. This episode just introduces you to Nick, Java, and Ethan. I also want to say that the pictures are supposed to be the person that the story follows. Just look at the POV to see who it is.

~~~~Nick's POV~~~~

Nick came into the new state with no clue who anyone was. Little did he know, he wouldn't have
much time to talk. While he was thinking about his new life, he heard a strange noise behind his back. He knew it was an animal and Nick also knew that he didn't have any weapons, so he ran.
While running, he saw someone's house. He thought quickly and ran into it. He searched all of the house to see if it had anything that resembled a weapon. He had no luck until he finally found an axe in the last drawer. He then turned around to see the animal for the first time. It was brown with no other colors on it. Nick knew instantly it was a bear, one of the hardest animals to kill in the world. They're deadly because even the slightest movement can make them attack.
Nick panicked and swung his axe wildly, hitting it here and there. Finally he managed to get one good hit on the bear and it fell to the ground and Nick knew he had finally killed it. Nick couldn't believe what he'd just done! He'd never killed anything before!
Nick turned around to see a whole group of people staring at him. Nick had no clue why they were staring at him.All of a sudden, before Nick could even say a word, everybody started clapping and cheering for him! Nick was very surprised because he didn't know it was THAT special to kill a bear.
Two people came up to him."Why is everybody clapping and cheering for me?", Nick asked the two with a small chuckle. The looked at him in disbelief of Nick's unknowing of how special it was to kill that type of animal. The boy finally said, "That was a brown bear. And by the way I'm Dakota, but everyone calls me Java. And that's my friend Ethan. I think we should be friends."

"It went crazy after busting out of the zoo," said Ethan, completely ignoring what Java said.
Nick replies to Java, "I think we should be friends, I mean I just moved here and I really could use some people to help me around." Java and Ethan smiled and walked away.

Everybody gave Nick something special for saving the county! This was officially the best day of Nick's life! Not only was he already known by everyone in the county, but he was also being given all the riches anyone could IMAGINE! Nick would have to be killed to let go of all the pride he just gained.
