Elena stopped walking when she reached the end of the road. Five was still in her sights but she'd been walking around carrying that briefcase for hours and her arm was starting to hurt. She set the briefcase down on a bench and, making a mental note to demand Jerry to redesign the briefcases to be lighter, Elena looked down the road at the line of parked cars debating which one she'd look best in.

Elena was surprised she remembered quite so much about how to hotwire a car. Sure she'd done it when she hijacked that ice cream van with Klaus and Diego but that seemed like years ago now. And she'd been taught how to hotwire cars years and years before that. Thanks to the circumstances of her first lesson in how to steal cars, it's not something she'll ever be able to forget.

She tossed the briefcase lightly in the trunk and hopped in the front. She adjusted the mirrors and seat and revved the engine just to make sure he'd rewired it correctly. She smiled as the engine purred. This was definitely an improvement to simply stalking Five down an alleyway. At least now she had somewhere to sleep.

Elena followed Five in the car, driving slowly and pulling up by the sidewalk occasionally to not look so suspicious. She tailed him all the way to the alleyway he had arrived in and watched him teleport inside through a back entrance into a shop. Morty's Television and Radio. Elena parked the car in the street opposite the alleyway and sighed. She knew where he was, that was good news. But now what? Was she really going to betray Five after everything he had done to try and help her? But taking him back to the commission was the only way to be reunited with her family...

She glanced out the window and up and down the street. One shop in particular caught her eye. She smiled. The commission always gave their employees sufficient funds and Elena figured it was time for a splurge.

"Hello welcome to Bennett and Sons Fishing Emporium, we have everything for all your fishing needs. How can I help you today?" a very bored looking employee asked in an equally bored sounding manner as Elena entered the shop.

"Have you got any binoculars?"

"Over there," the employee gestured vaguely, "Between the buckets and fold out chairs."

"Thank you."

"Damn it," Elena hissed under her breath as she sat in the car, peering at the building Five had gone into through her brand new binoculars, "Open your curtains! How am I supposed to stalk you if you don't open your curtains?"

Elena sighed and tossed the binoculars aside into the passenger seat and started the car. She drove around to the front of Morty's Television and Radio and parked across the street from it. She lifted the binoculars back up and peered through the shop front and to the back room upstairs. She grinned. There he was. Her luck had turned but it was not to last.
