"Heeeey."
"Are you going to want this back or do I get to keep it?"Elena halted. She stood frozen in the street, holding the newspaper cutting of Diego's mugshot. It was all she had in her pockets. She had planned on writing a note to warn Diego that he was now a target. But she didn't have any paper other than one with Diego's face plastered on it and she didn't have a pen either. This plan was quickly falling apart.
"How am I even gonna write?" Elena wondered aloud to herself, "I could...no that's weird. Really, really weird..." she trailed off, "But I haven't got any other ideas than to write in my own blood. I can just heal myself, it'll be fine."
Once the note was written and Elena had healed herself, she was feeling even less confident about her plan. Her note looked psychopathic! She had had to write with her finger so the letters were strangely big and her blood had dripped everywhere. It looked more like a threat than a warning. But she had come this far and she needed to warn Diego before the commission killed him. This was one way to do it and the only way she could think of. So she had to commit to the psychopathic, blood written note. But how to deliver it?
She couldn't risk slipping it under the door. If she got that close they might see her and then her cover was blown. Elena stared at her feet while she thought and absent mindedly kicked at the rocks. And then she had an idea.
"Throw the rock through the window!" She said excitedly to herself as she bent down and wrapped the note around the rock, "Have I gone too far?" she faltered, "Cause this is as creepy as it gets."
She tossed the rock up in the air and caught it again and shrugged,
"Well, I don't have any other ideas," she shrugged and chucked the rock at the window of Morty's Television and Radio and ran away as fast as she could.
Once she had got far enough away, she slowed down to a fast walk. She didn't want to look too suspicious but couldn't help but look back over her shoulder to make sure they had definitely seen the note.
She wanted to stop and double check. Part of her wanted to stop, hoping Diego would see her. It would give her a reason to talk to him again. She knew it was a bad idea but god did she miss him.
