Chapter 22

"It's Mr I only use ice and... Kacchan.... "

Deku watched as the boy who only used his ice engaged in combat with Moonfish, using his ice to block the villain's teeth enlarging Quirk.

Moonfish was highly skilled however, being able to break through the ice and nearly hit the target with one of his teeth. However it was only to be intercepted by another wave of ice from the bicoloured boy.

The ice boy yelled something at Bakugou and it must've been annoying as the explosive one started getting more pissed than he already was. Moonfish continued to break through the ice defenses with his teeth while also using his teeth to maneuver himself around.

Moonfish was in the advantage so Deku turned his sight away from them and looked back for Mustard.

The metal boy had continued walking through the forest, wandering at first but eventually reach the source of the poisonous gas.

"They found Mustard!" Deku gasped as he waved a hand at Muscular who immediately stood up.

The young villain was aware of their presence and took out his gun, firing it at the metal boy only for it to deflect.

Deku paniced as he watched Mustard get punched and knocked out.

"They took him out!"

Muscular frowned and picked up Deku and sat him on his shoulder. "Point me where!" 

"Down there!" 

They jumped right down towards where Deku pointed.

Please be okay Mustard... you're an essential part of our plan and we need you!

I don't think he's too bad, just unconscious...

As they ran through, Muscular pointed at a massive shadow that appeared out of nowhere and stood tall, looming over the trees and Deku gave it a horrified look.

The massive dark shadow was rampaging around and Deku cried as his clairvoyant sight saw it completely crush Moonfish.

"Moonfish no!!!!"

"Hey what's wrong kid?"

"They got Moonfish!"

"Tch..." He set Deku onto the floor before placing both large hands on Deku's shoulders and gave a deep exhale. He gave a warm reassuring smile to the panicked teen who calmed down quickly.

"you go for Mustard, I'll get Moonfish."

Deku nodded and immediately jumped off towards his unconcious friend before teleporting right by his side.

He arrived and saw Mustard on the floor with his face badly damaged and the gas mask broken. He immediately removed the broken pieces and exhaled as he concentrated. Running his fingers over the cuts and blood, perfect stitches appeared and Mustard's face quickly looked the same as it did before, just with a few lines where the cuts were.

Deku then knelt down and picked him up before staggering and feeling really tired.

Izuku are you okay?!

Yeah, I'm running low though so I don't have much left... I'll take a small break for now.

Okay!

Carrying Mustard on his back, Deku looked around to confirm his bearings before he running towards Muscular.

Reaching there, he stifled a cry as he saw both Moonfish and Muscular knocked unconscious, crushed looking by probably the dark shadow. Deku placed Mustard with the other two before hiding them. He needed to inform the others what happened.

He ran down the path of pushed apart trees knowing the students with that shadow must be at the end. Kacchan was their target so the other league members would be there too.

A few moments earlier, Toga found the two girls and immediately engaged in combat. She managed to slightly wound the one with round cheek's arm and thanks to her machine, it immediately started to drain blood from the tiny wound.

Toga kept attacking to which the frog girl responded by flinging the girl with round cheeks away with her tongue.

She then yelled at the other to run back to the facility as Toga strode over and struck frog girl's tongue with her knife and held her against a tree.

However, the pink cheek's girl ran back to help her friend and used martial arts to apprehends Toga.

"Tsu!!!"

"Oww! That hurt!"

With Toga on the ground and apprehended, the two restrained her arms. Toga then looked into the one of their eyes.

"I know those eyes.... We are similar." Toga giggled as she asked for the girl's name.

"Oh Ochacco! You have eyes of someone in love! Is it that frog girl...Tsu?" Toga blushed happily as she thought about Deku. "I know how you feel because we're friends now! Oh isn't this exciting?! We're having girl talk!!!"

Toga panted heavily as she began to talk about people who are in love strive to be like the ones they love.

Her talking enraged Ochacco however as Toga noted that love stories are fun and used her machine to stab Ochacco's leg.  Unable to stop her due to being caught off guard with the talking, Toga began draining Ochacco's blood.

At that moment, the group with the target arrivived and saw Ochacco forcing Toga to stop draining the blood and pushed her aside.

"No way I'll win with a group this large.... I don't wanna die!" She shrieked before jumping up and retreating, however just as she looked past the group, she saw Deku following behind and blushed.

She immediately dove back into the bushes so she could trail around and join the one she happily loved. Ochacco wanted to follow her, but Tsu stopped her saying that they don't know Toga's quirk enough. After seeing that Ochacco and Tsu are alright, the ice boy asked them to join the escort.

However, Ochacco and Tsu then looked around the group before Tsu bluntly said. "Kero, why isn't Bakugou isn't with you?"

The two boys then turned around only to find that Fumikage and Katsuki are missing.

"Oh...."

Mr Compress then appeared next to Deku and Toga who gave him a confused look before the man opened his enclosed fist revealing two marbles.

They looked closer to see two small people encased in them and Mr Compress gave a chuckle.

"I got him."
