"What?"
"It will be okay" Deku reassured and although she was nervous, she gingerly touched the bleeding body. Deku never used perfect stitches on the victims he had to kill since it was a waste of power and power was used for his family.
He watched as the dead body's wounds all healed up and Deku saw the organ that he ate had not returned.
So she's either option one... a healer. Because the organ had not returned.
Or two... she rewinds time because I feel as full as when we first started this mission....
It's probably the latter because the person is already dead here. She can't bring a person back to life so instead she ends up healing it instead or something...
"Are you okay Mr Deku?" she asked and Deku smiled at her as he put the healed body back and took out another.
She repeated it and Deku watched as her horn shrunk a little.
"Is it okay you repeat what you're doing a few more times?" he asked and Eri have him a skeptical look.
"Why?"
He then smiled as he held open his arms.
"So you can hug anyone you want without them disappearing."
There was silence as the girl who always thought contact would be impossible because she was cursed, tightly gripped the hem of her dress.
"If I... do this a lot... then I feel the kind warmth.... without them dissappearing?" Eri asked, her voice crackling a little with hope.
Deku nodded gently.
"Yeah, I think so."
One by one, it was a strange process as Deku pulled out bodies from his space and Eri repeatedly used her quirk, her horn shrinking each time until it became less than a knub.
"It's... Getting a little hard to use it now..." She panted as she now taking almost triple the time it took to heal the body when she first started.
"That's okay, let's see if you can do another" Deku said as he pulled out probably the 80th dead body.
Eru nodded and by the time she finished, she felt her body slump forward from exhaustion and before she fell, Deku caught her in his arms.
"Wait!" she yelped with panic before realizing nothing was happening.
"Huh?"
Eri looked at Deku with wary eyes as she confirmed her quirk wasn't activating at all. And seeing Deku still smiling at her, Eri felt relief overcome her as she could hear Deku's heartbeat through his warmth.
Tears that weren't allowed to be spilt before, were now coming forward again except this time, the tears streamed down her face as Eri threw her arms around his neck and hugged him, her sobs echoing down the corridor.
Somewhere within the building, Overhaul was overwhelmed by heroes and Twice was dancing with Toga at the downfall of the Shie Hassaikai.
They called Kurogiri to tell the others the news and their next plan of action was how to escape the area and go back to base.
"Oh yeah!" Toga smiled as she chatted to Dabi.
"Over-whore is being transported to a villain hospital by the freeway!"
Twice could hear Dabi and Tomura snickering at the nickname before Dabi casually said.
"Ah... Your room kinda has a couple burbs.... Traps are superior."
