The tornado had nearly reached the Hermitcraft main island. As it drew closer the soft breeze that had been there before grew stronger, turning into a blustery wind that whistled and howled in your ears. Soon the sky became thick with dark rain clouds that threatened to pour down at any moment. The wind grew faster and colder, evolving into a harsh, unforgiving storm. Anything not built into the ground like loose shrubbery or debris was picked up and blown all across the different districts. Chests and shulker boxes were blown over, wooden doors broke off their hinges, old trees fell over across the cobblestone paths, broken branches smashed into glass windows, stray leaves, banners, and papers flew everywhere making a mess of the entire island.

The Hermits all shivered, wrapping themselves tight in their warm winter clothes as each made their own way across the ocean waters towards the ice biome and Stress's castle. Many of them struggled to fly with their elytra due to the increasing storm, so majority took their boats instead.

As they arrived one by one, everyone was greeted by the sweet smell of hot chocolate that Stress had kindly prepared. She also passed around hot towels to everyone as they gathered around the warm, crackling fireplace. If there was not a threatening storm right outside, it would feel a lot like Christmas with the smell of burning firewood and chocolate filling the room. As dire a situation as this was, this was the first time all the Hermits had been together in the same place for quite a few months. Even Python, TFC and Biffa were there, and no one had seen them for what felt like forever! But everyone was chatting and laughing together like it had only been a day.

Everyone seemed to be accounted for. So, Xisuma asked them to gather around Stress's dining table so he could explain the situation. "Thank you all for coming so quickly. I'm glad to see you all here, safe and sound..." He addressed his friends as they all sat down.

"What in the server is going on, X?" Cleo spoke up, using one of the admin's many nicknames. "The weather is absolutely bonkers outside! You said there was a 'tornado' heading for the mainland?"

"But tornadoes should not even exist in Minecraft. It was not announced in any of the new updates as far as I have heard." Joe Hills interjected.

Xisuma nodded, "You're right, I know it sounds a little crazy... But there really is a tornado on the server. I don't know how or why it's here, or if it's just in our world. My update log didn't mention anything about it, and the lagging level has been alright for the past few days, so it can't have been either of those." He then looked towards a blue slime man in a white jumper sitting opposite him. "Jevin, have you got the control pad I asked you to bring from my base on your way here?"

"I do indeed." Jevin rummaged through his backpack until he pulled out the small green tablet, passing it to the admin. "I'm glad I didn't arrive at your base any later. The tornado was just about on top of it. It took quite a few rockets to get myself out of there."

"Thanks, Jevin. I'll give you some new rockets when this is all done." Xisuma took the tablet and began to set up the weather map he had used earlier. "There's a setting on my world map that can allow us to see where the tornado is heading. It's how I found it in the first place."

So, Xisuma explained to everyone, for the second time that day, how he had discovered and escaped the storm that morning. When he had finished everyone was silent. The only sound that could be heard was the howling wind from outside. No one had ever heard of anything like this happening in Minecraft before.

After a minute Tango shrugged and tried to break the moment of doom and gloom. "Well, at least it's not an alien invasion or something like that! Am I right?" He gained a few eye rolls and nervous smiles from the others. 'Better than nothing...' He thought.
