G'day everyone!
My name is Caitie, and welcome to my very first published book!
I've been writing and making up my own stories for as long as I can remember. So, you could imagine how excited and nervous I am about sharing my ideas with the public for the first time.
I only have one problem though. I have never finished any of my stories... ever... never ever... no joke. Yes, I admit it... I've never made it to the "happily ever after" bit. Whenever I start a new story, I work on it for a couple weeks and then... either reality decides to distract me with something new... or I get writers block and I have to take a break. And whenever that happens, I completely forget about my projects, which usually results in me losing interest in them all together.
Not exactly a great habit for a story writer to have, I know... ':D
So, this time, I want to challenge myself! Not only do I want to share what I write, but I want to actually finish what I start too!
I like playing Minecraft as well. I like playing it, a lot. Perhaps maybe too much... I'll never know for sure.
You would think that it'd be normal for me to one day just click on a random Minecraft YouTube video. Right? Well, little did I know that on that one day, clicking on that one video would start one of the biggest obsessions I've ever had in my life.
That obsession, is Hermitcraft.
Yep! That video, believe it or not, just so happened to be Grian's first Hermitcraft episode. Before I watched this video I had no idea who Grian was, nor had I ever heard of Hermitcraft before. But as soon as I watched the video, I was hooked. I've watched every one of his episodes since, and I've gotten to know all of the other Hermits as well, such as Mumbo, Scar, Ren, Iskall and Tango. Watching their videos is always a highlight to my day! Call me obsessed... but I already have so... Ha! Beat you all to it!
Anyway... I'm getting distracted yet again! (Sorry! I'm trying, really!) :'D
Just before I begin the story, I have an important announcement to make.
I want to say a huge "Thank you!" to the wonderful @MightysWolf who wrote the book: Wizards of Hermitcraft. (Go check out the book! You won't regret it!)
The Wizard of Oz has been one of my favorite stories for a long time, so I thought it was absolutely amazing when I found Mighty's combination of The Wizard of Oz and Hermitcraft! Their story was so engaging for me, and it inspired me so much that I just had to write my own version!
I asked Mighty if I could use their concept, create my own version, and publish it on Wattpad... and they said yes! Thank you so much Mighty! :D
So, before I get sidetracked again, I'm going to stop jabbering and start writing. Ladies and Gentlemen, without any further ado, I am proud and excited to present to you all...
