Kai didn't exactly know what to think or do about the current situation she was in. After all the crazy and dangerous situations she has been in in the past few days, she was kinda hoping for things to calm down. All Kai wanted to do was go one day without at least one of them almost dying, or at least a few hours.

Yeah, she now realizes how unbelievably naive that sounds now, but hey a girl can dream.

Kai ran a frustrated hand down her face as she fought everything within herself to not grab the kid and knock some sense into him, because at this point, she was seriously considering doing just that. Kai stood in front of Appa with her arms crossed, glaring slightly at the young boy in front of her as he desperately tried to get the large bison to move. Aang was a sweet and brave kid, she had to give him that, but going to the Fire Nation? Alone? Now that was just idiotic.

"Let's go Appa!" C'mon boy!" Aang exclaimed as he desperately tried to pull at the reins, which the bison deftly ignored as he stayed laying down.

"Do you have a death wish or something kid? Because at this point I'm seriously considering it" Kai fumed.

"No, but I am not letting my friends go into the Fire Nation."

Kai pointed an accusing finger at him.

"Uh uh, no do not give me that self sacrificial 'I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me' crap alright? You going by yourself trying to be a hero all willy nilly, isn't exactly the smartest thing to do. Plus do you know how many times we've all almost died within the time I've known you?"
