Island Princess Chapter 2: A new world...

The day after, Prince Hubert of Girogika, was sailing across the sea, seeing the island infront.

"Let's rest there!" He proclaimed, staring at it. "Let's take a break."

The ship was approaching and the tip hit the soft sand, making it rise slightly as Hubert and his advisor climb down.

Hubert sighs a big relief of tropical air as he goes down a path.

Hubert:
Nothing beats a brand new shore,
Streaming into view!
After weeks upon the waves,
The thrill of somewhere new.

All the riches of the world
Can't compare to these
Golden sand and silver clouds,
The fragrant island breeze!

What will discover next?
It's all a mystery!
Different every day.
There's so much to do and learn
And touch and hear and see
Just a step away...

Eve and the others, who hid, saw the prince walk past. The animals couldn't believe their eyes as Eve went a little closer.

Pearl: It has no trunk.
Russel: It has no tail.
Pearl: It's not a fish.
Russel: It's not a whale.
Azul: It has feathers I can see!
Eve: I have to say it looks like... me!

Pearl: It must be bad!
Russel: It can't be good!
Pearl: Let's run and hide!
Azul: I think we should!
Pearl: Just close your eyes, it goes away!
Eve: This doesn't happen everyday!

Hubert:
Feeling the excitement grow,
Every single stride!
Sun above and earth below...

Eve looked back to see that the two men fell though a ditch and rushed after them, knowing what the danger beneath them was.

The men were Alright, sighing incredible relief until alligators appeared, growling and snapping their jaws, ready for a tiny bite of a prince's leg.

"Antonio, Rodriguez!" Eve cried, swinging down to them."No eating the foreigners."

The alligators snapped their jaws at the girl, Hubert just staring at the maiden in amazement.

"I know, but eating human beings is not the right way." Eve lectured, giving each pineapples to chew on."Now go and eat your food."

The alligators snapped a thank you and swam away, leaving the the 3 humans go.

"Thank you.."Hubert said, eyes not leaving hers."I..I'm honored to know your name."

Eve blushes a little and smiles."It's Eve." She said, jumping to the others."Welcome to my island."

"You live here?" The advisor gasp."For how long?!"

"As long as I can remember."Even answered and helped the others up and to the ship."Nothing before that unfortunately."

"Eve!!"Pearl cried and held on to Eve for dear life.

Eve Giggles."Everyone, I'm alright!"

"I'll say! You dashed like a cheetah to save your look alike!" Azul sighed in a dramatic sense.

"You scared us all.."Russel sighs.

Hubert watched in amazement as Eve was simply talking to these animals without no hesitation.

He cleared his throat."Well, I'm Prince Hubert of Girogika. It's a place not far from here exactly."

"A prince! Wow-"

Azul gambled on and on, which was just little gobbles from Hubert but Eve started to laugh.

"Yes, Azul, he's a prince, your a prince!" She smiles.

"Wait, you can truly understand what he was saying?"

"Yes. Don't you?"

Hubert shakes his head."No, all I heard is.."

Then he started to recite what he heard, just gobbles.

He stopped as he noticed the offended face of the peacock.

"I'm sorry...that's just what I heard.."

Azul complained."Why must they have to be so rude about it.."

Eve smiles and pets him."It's ok, they can't understand you like I do."

Hubert noticed her position. Being in an island with no one but animals to keep you company..seemed ruff to him.

"Hey..how about you and your friends travel to Girogika?" He blurted out.

"What?" The advisor gasp.

"To a new place?" Eve ask." I-I never went outside of this island.."

Hubert held her hand softly."How about this? You can stay with me for a few days. We have a amazing green house so you can sleep in the trees. Please think about it till morning?"

Eve face was beet red as she nodded.

Night slowly approached as Eve watched the ship.

"Eve?" Pearl asked, looking at the girl.

Eve: Where is the land I come from?
Who lives where I was born?
Why do my memories start with a storm?
What if I have a family
Somewhere beyond the sea
Could there be someone there missing me
Tell me why I'm not sleeping
And my heart is leaping inside me
Could this be one of those times when you feelings decide

I need to know these answers
I need to find my way
Seize my tomorrow
Learn my yesterday
I need to take these chances
Let all my feelings show
Can't tell what's waiting
Still I need to go
I need to know

Eve, the next day, with the others aboard the ship, looking amazed.

Eve stares at Hubert the whole time, questions filled her head as she watched.

Why does he look through circles?
Why does he hide his feet?
Why do I feel shy when we meet?
Is this the tree he sleeps in?
What can he see from there?
Could there be new horizons to share?
All these questions keep turning and churning and burning inside me
What are these feelings I feel when he's here by my side

I need to know these answers
I need to find my way
Seize my tomorrow
Learn my yesterday
I need to take these chances
Let all my feelings show
Can't tell what's waiting
Still I need to go
I need to know

Hubert can never understand these feelings he gets from the island girl, who would climb up the ropes and let herself free. His face would be red as a Rose or Eve's hibiscus flower in her ginger hair.

Hubert: Isn't she just amazing
Daring and bold and sure
Different from girls that I've met before
Do you think she might like me?
How do I look tonight?
I just want everything to be right
All these questions keep turning and churning and burning inside me
What are these feelings I feel when she's here by my side
