I hear rustling near the window and I wake up.
I see Ethan sound asleep next to me and I sigh up at look at the window.
The noise stops and I turn to see Ethan but he's covered in blood and I scream.
All of a sudden I feel a pressure on my throat and I turn to see Azizi strangling me.
"Did you think you could get rid of me?" He asks and pushes a gun to my head.
"Eden!" A voice shouts
He presses the trigger and I jolt up, almost bumping my head with Ethan.
"Are you okay?" He asks me and my head shoots to the window.
All I can do is nod and I take in deep breaths.
"Bad dream?" He asks and I nod
"Come here" he says pulling me into his chest
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks as I hug him
"No" I croak out and he just hugs me tighter.
He moves my pillow and puts his arm under my pillow.
I rest my head on the pillow as his fingers trail my face, calming me down.
"Why is your arm under my pillow?" I ask him
"Cause I'll always be there if you fall"
Maybe I have someone to hold me up after all.

"Darling wake up" he says and i weakly open my eyes
"Happy birthday" he says and I groan sitting up
"Thanks" i say yawning and he just watches me
"Sorry about this morning" I tell him
"Don't be ridiculous, i didn't do anything" he says
"Just shut up and accept the gesture" I say and he laughs
"What time is it?" I ask him
"Half one" he says and I raise my eyebrows
"I thought you could do with a lie in" he says and i nod
"Well, I better get up" i say
"I've told the dramatic duo that were going out tonight" he says and i nod
"I can't wait to get rid of them" i say
"Me too, I always feel like they are listening" he says
"They probably are" I say
"Do you want breakfast?" He asks me, "well lunch?"
"I'm not hungry yet, I might just have a snack after" I tell him and he nods
We walk into the living room and I look up to see my dad.
"Dad?" I ask in shock
"Hey sweetie" he says and I run up to him and hug him
"What are you doing here?" I ask him
"I wanted to be here for your birthday" he says and i smile
"I would take the credit but your mom arranged me coming down here, she's throwing you a party" he says
"What?" I ask shocked
"Shit, was it meant to be a secret?" He asks and I laugh
"Yeah it was" Ethan says laughing
"It's okay, I'll just act" i tell my dad and he lets out a relieved breath
"Good" he says and i chuckle
"Where are you staying?" I ask him
"A hotel across the street" he tells me
"How long are you staying?" I ask him
"Two days" he says, "your brother is getting some award"
"Oh the writing thing?" I ask and he nods
"Mia is getting that... as well as Harriet" I say
"What is it?" Ethan asks me
"I don't know, I just.... it doesn't matter" I tell him, "how did you know where I was?"
"It was Ethans idea of surprising you" my dad tells me and I turn to look at Ethan
"You would talk about your dad on deployment and I thought it would be nice for you to see him" Ethan says and I smile and hug him
"Thank you" i say and he hugs me back
"No problem" he says and I pull away from him
"Well, I better go" my dad says and I smile at him, "I'll see you at a not so secret meal"
"Dad you just old me it was a meal" I say
"Shit" he curses and Ethan and I laugh
"Your lucky I'm a good actress" I tell him
"You'll be getting an Oscar if you pull this off" my dad tells me and I laugh
"I'll see you tonight" I tell him giving him a hug
"I'll see you later" he tells me
"I love you" i tell him
"I love you too" he says back and i pull away from him
"Now go before you tell me everything" I say and he laughs before leaving
"My dad likes you" i tell Ethan
"How do you know?" He asks me
"I just do"
"Well that's good then" he says and i smile
