"Can we talk to you two?" Jane asks all of a sudden and we both turn to see Jane and my mom standing outside staring at us both
"Come inside, let's talk in the spare room" my mom says, "away from everyone"
"What's going on?" I mumble
"I don't know" he mumbles back at me
He takes my hand and we head back inside and follow them into the spare room.
"Look" my mom begins, "you do realise that we love you?"
"Yes" Ethan and I say at the same time
"You have to understand that we just worry" Jane says
"And you have to understand that we are professionals and we know what we're doing" Ethan says and they nod
"We know, it's just different for us. Both of you have so grown up so much compared to other kids your age and it's just a bit weird. Your so mature and you've both been through so much and your just starting your lives" my mom says
"We know" i say, "but you have to know that if we didn't like what we did, we wouldn't do it"
They nod, "we know, it's just as mothers we have an instinct to protect you and when your not here it's just difficult for us"
"We're never going to leave you no matter what happens" Ethan says
"We're just happy we have you, for Christmas" My mom says
Ethan and I glance at each other, "actually"
"What now?" My mom asks
"We're going to Alaska" i say
"What? But it's Christmas" Jane says
"We just feel like we need to have a break from everything, you know what we're like. We get bored easily" Ethan says and our moms look at each other
"What about Max?" My mom asks
"He's coming with us" i say
"To Alaska?" She asks and I nod
"We had a training week in Poland once on our first tour actually and he loved it, when he was allowed to play everyone was just playing in the snow" i say
"It was great, we would through snowballs in the air for him and he'd eat them in the air" Ethan says
Our moms look at eachother before looking back at us.
"Okay" Jane says and i smile
"You can go, but we want you back before New Years" My mom says and we nod

"Hi" i say
"How are you enjoying your full week at school?" She asks and I laugh
"I hate it" i say and she laughs
"Eden, I think Max is limping" Casey says
"What?" I say wide eyed
"Where is he?" I ask
"He just went into the kitchen" Casey says
I walk into the kitchen and see him drinking some water out of a bowl my mom put out.
"Max" i say and his head shoots up and looks at me and his face is covered food
Fat fucker.
"What the fuck?" I ask loudly and my mom rushes in
"Who fed him?" I ask her
"Not me" she says
"He's gonna have the runs all night" I groan
I stand up and walk into the living room, "who has been feeding Max all night?"
"What?" Ethan asks confused
"He's covered in food" i say
"I may have given him some chicken" Ray says and i shake my head
"I also, may have given him some chips" Casey says
"Oh my god" I groan
"Is he going to be alright?" Jane asks
I nod, "yeah he's on a strict diet so he's probably going to have a messed up stomach for tonight"
"Sorry" Casey says worriedly
"Hey it's alright" i tell her and she hugs me
"I'm sure he's thankful for the snacks anyway" I say and she giggles slightly
"You can stay here tonight if you want?" My mom asks me
"Really?" I ask
"Yeah, it will be nice having you back in the house" she says and i smile
"Sounds good to me" i say and she hugs me.

Plus I'm getting a cold! Just a winter cold, not corona. I've had my temperature taken, just a cold... I can't hear anything lmao. I tell you I'm just really bunged up.
