I walk out of her room and I spot Ethan in his uniform.
"Hey" he says
"Hi" i say with a sigh
"How was it?" He asks me
"Fine, I guess" I say
"Well I've just had a face time call with your section" he says
"How are they?" I ask
"Luke is miserable without you" he says and i nod
"Well it seems like he might have to get used to it" i say
"Why?" He asks, "it's temporary isn't it?"
"It's not my decision" I say
"It might do you good talking to someone" he says
I narrow my eyebrows, "what do you mean?"
"No ones invincible Eden, theres no shame in admitting that you need help" he says
I let out a breath, "not you as well"
"I've just saying that you've been though a lot-"
"Yeah but so has every other poor fucker in the army, you have. You've seen shit" i say
"Yeah but you-" he begins
"So you think I'm crazy too?" I ask him
"No I'm not saying that" he says
"Alright" I snap, "thanks for your support Ethan"
I walk off leaving him in the corridor and I walk downstairs.

I take a drink of my water and I see Captain Leroy walk up to me.
"Martinez" he says
"Sir" I say
"How was your appointment?" He asks me
"Fine" i say
"Well, if you ever need anyone to talk to" he says and i nod
"You ready for the meeting?" He asks me
"As ready as I'll ever be" I say and he nods as we walk down a corridor.
"If you don't understand anything, just ask me and I'll clarify it" he says as we walk down some stairs
"Okay" i say
"You've got this" he tells me reassuringly

I'm currently sitting in a room with people, men. Wearing suits and some in army uniform.
I'm sat next to my Captain and Ethan keeps looking at me from across the table.
The room is filled with screens lighting up the dimly lit room.
"There is nothing for you to be worried about Eden" General Sanders informs me
"Sir"
"But we now have confirmation that Jacob Hopkins or as you may know him Ahamid Azizi, re- entered the country on September the twenty third" he tells me
"Why didn't we arrest him?" I ask
"False passport" he says
I scoff, "what? It's that simple sir?"
He looks down, "on rare occasions"
"Up until we have him in our custody, we have to assume that he is active" Will says who is sitting next to Ethan.
He is also in special forces.
"We have the found the man who helped Hopkins transition to a different religion. Abdul-Jawad. He is not at any of his known addresses" he says and a picture of a older man with a long brown bread shoes on the screen
"This makes us think that he is now an active part with Hopkins" he tells me
"We need to to stay calm and stay focused-" Captain Leroy begins but I cut him off
"So what your saying here, right" i say looking up and around the room at them all, "my 'sightings' of him might not have been my imagination all along? They might have been actually him"
Sanders nods and I let out a deep breath.
"So.. do you uh... do you think that he knows where I am?" I ask them
"We need you to plot all of the places where you think you have seen him" Leroy tells me
"Then we can look through the CCTV footage and try to find him" Ethan says
"We're going to catch him, Eden" Ethan says and I look up at him

"So I ran out of the shop and couldn't see him" i say as we walk through the mall dodging people as we make our way through the crowds
"I saw this guy and I grabbed him, but it wasnt him" I tell Sanders
"Was he alone?" Sanders asks me
"Yes, he was alone" I say
We make our way up to the CCTV room and I wait nervously for them to get the footage.
"So it was at around two pm?" A guy asks and I nod
"Yeah" i say
"Okay, here" he says and I walk forward towards the screen
My heart drops as I see him dressed in all black with a baseball cap on walking through the mall in a hurry.
"That's him" i say in shock
"So it was him" I say, "I'm not just imagining it"
"Martinez, in your debrief you said there was pictures of statues, a fountain" Sanders says
"Yes, the one in this mall. The one Ethan called you about" I say
"This operation is being moved to severe, an attack is highly likely"
