(I am so sorry how long this took to write. I deeply apologize for the late update but this took longer then expected.)
You decided to wing it and buy the tickets. It took awhile to load which didn't help your nervousness but in the end it said the ticket would arrive in 2 days. You were still a bit on edge about if it was a scam or not but you just hoped it wasn't and went back to watching anime. (Or whatever you want to watch.)
It has been a few hours before it dawned on you homework was a thing. You turned in your chair and stared at your bag for a few minutes hoping if by looking at it the homework would magically do itself, but sadly that's not how it works. You groaned before finally going over to your bag and doing the homework that was assigned.

After an hour or randomly staring at your homework and finishing it you were done and could go back to watching anime. (Or again whatever you want to watch) it was about one AM but you didn't care sleep was for the weak anyway. Least that's what you told yourself but you ended up falling asleep ten minutes later on your desk and woke up with a very sore neck.
You had started to get ready for school by throwing on whatever you could find in your closet. You didn't have much because you had forgotten to do laundry but you were able to throw so something together for at least today. You had nothing big for breakfast you just shoved a pop tart in your mouth and started walking to the bus stop.
Your bus normally showed up around the same time you did to the stop, so you didn't have to wait long. You climbed on and sat in one of the back rows of the bus and plugged in your headphones as you stared out the window of the bus. Few minutes later the bus arrived to school just as quickly as it picked you up, and everyone was waddling out of the bus and into the school like penguins.
You had made your way to home room after getting off the bus and decided to sit next to (Random name). You knew them enough to consider them a friend, maybe not like BFF but just a small friend. You started telling (Random name) all about the tickets you ordered, which made (her/him/them) yell at you for buying something blindly off a website.
You both ranted for a bit about different topics before the bell rung. You backed up your stuff and bid each other goodbye and left for your other classes.

Today was the day to see if it was a scam or not the day the tickets were finally arriving or so they said. You were waiting on the floor close to the front door, just waiting for any noise to be heard from the outside. Of course though you got bored of that and went back to the kitchen to get something to eat. Few minutes later you ended up in your room watching anime while nibbling on some random chips you found in the cabinet.
A few episodes had gone by when you heard the door ring. You made your way downstairs to see a package at your front door which you dragged in. It was nothing huge just a box the size of your hand. You quickly opened it with a knife from the kitchen and inside was the ticket you ordered along with a T-shirt with the conventions name on it. So I guess you could tell (Random name) it wasn't a scam after all.

You slowly boarded the train to New York, the day had come to go to the convention and you were quiet nervous. You were wearing your best (Character name) cosplay, you had spent the last few nights making it and you believed it came out well. What was really bothering you was you never cosplayed in public before you always did it on Halloween or in the comfort of your own home.
You finally arrived after sitting in a train for how many hours. It was nice to finally be walking around and not having people giving you weird looks on the train for your cosplay. Only problem now was you had no idea how to navigate New York, not going to lie you probably stared at that map for a good 32 minutes trying to figure out where you are meant to go before you spotted people in cosplay and just started to follow them.
Luckily they were in fact heading to the convention to. You arrived after following these people for about 24 minutes, but I mean it was worth it once you got there. The side was covered in all types of posters of all different things, movies, anime, games, books You name it. You stood in shock for a few minutes before finally traveling to a small boba tea set-up after walking for so long you were pretty thirsty.
You ordered (Boba tea of choice) and waited when you spotted a girl also ordering something from the stand. She was in a cosplay like you but you had never seen a character like her before so you went over to asked what she was cosplaying as. The girl was wearing a red bow and had really dark hair and pale skin and had a smile cut into her Checks, she did an amazing job at makeup in your opinion.
<Not writing back and fourth dialogue so make up whatever conversation>
You and the girl who's name you learnt was Nina had been talking for the last few Hours. You had gotten your Bubba tea and had been walking around the convention the entire time enjoying each other's company. She was apparently cosplaying as an OC of hers which you thought was really cool that someone would do that. You and Nina were truly having a blast but sadly everything has to end.
It was getting late and you knew your mother gave you a dead line, so you did the quickest thing you and Nina exchanged numbers and walked each other to the train station till you had to part ways to go on separate trains. Luckily it didn't take long for her to text you, it was as soon as you sat down on the train that you had gotten texts from Nina going on about different conventions she knew about they could go to if you were interested. Which like any cosplayer you were so you guys started scheduling your next meet up.
After chatting with Nina for an entire two hour train ride you finally arrived to your stop. You climbed off and made your way to the parking lot where you saw your mother/fathers car chilling around the middle row. You climbed in as your mother/father started to drive home you guys having small conversations on the way there. You didn't know why but when you first met Nina something told you to stay away but after meeting her she seems really nice and laid back, sure she's a small bit fangirl crazy but isn't everyone.
You couldn't wait for your next meeting with Nina, and it was safe to say that Nina yo was exited to finally have a fangirl friend. Though a little disappointed she wanted to cause a massacre at the convention but when she met you she completely forget about it.
"Oh well, better luck next time~"
