(School is making this book take way longer to finish then it should.)

"No thanks Nicole I think I'll be fine walking home alone." You said as you waved goodbye to Nicole. It would be nice to have her company but you didn't want to drag her along back to your house when she lived on the complete opposite side of town.

The wind has picked up as you walked home carrying the pumpkin scent of autumn. Almost every store or shop had been stocked to the brim with anything pumpkin related since October 1st arrived. You didn't mind though it was a sign that the colder weather would be returning soon. You continued the walk to your house but couldn't help yourself to glancing into every store window you passed at all the Halloween decorations or costumes lining the stores.

While lost in your Halloween wonderland you failed to notice the masked entity following you from a distance. You continued to walk down admiring all the shops till you finally got into your neighborhood and fell out of your Halloween wonderland. As you started to return to reality you started to notice how chilly it had been and how dark it had gotten since you and Nicole left the diner. You quickened your pace to try and get home quicker before you become a living popsicle from being out in the cold.

You had been walking a short amount of time when you finally approached your door steps. Just as you were about to unlock your door you spotted what looked to be a man down the side walk. You raised your head to get a better look but because of how dark it was and how little of light the street lamps provided you could only make out the figure. The person just stood there staring at you unmoving like some statue. You finally rolled your eyes and yelled to the figure.

"Jay! I told you before to stop doing this type of thing with scaring people. Last year you were beaten to a bulp by a kids mother because you scared her kid." The figure still remained unmoving even after you confronted it. At this point you knew it had to be Jay he was the only idiot in the neighborhood who did this stuff around Halloween to scare everyone.

He kept standing there staring at you and honestly it was getting on your nerves so You started to approach him and it wasn't till you were almost right in front of him you noticed the ski mask. Not only was he trying to scare you now he had been the person you spotted at the diner. "Jay really? I know you have the school boy crush on Nicole but now it's turning to some weird masked obsession"

Jay still stood unfazed even after exposing him of spying on you and Nicole at the diner. While ranting to 'Jay' he suddenly leaned over and hugged you. You stood there like a dear in head lights for a few seconds before patting him on the back and saying you forgave him for scaring you. After that Jay started to walk away and you turned to your house. You unlocked the door and went over to call Nicole to see if she got home okay and to explain what happened.

<Phone conversation (Dialogue)>

"Hey Nicole I just got home and you won't believe what happened Jay tried to scare me again you think he would learn."

"Glad your home safe Y/N but what do you mean Jay has been at my house since I got back."

You froze there was no way Jay could've made it back to her house yet you both lived on opposite sides of town not to mention she lived almost five minutes away from the diner you were at.

"Is everything okay Y/N?"

"Yea just fine I'm going to bed night Nicole"

<Phone conversation over>

You hung up the phone and stood there dumb founded whoever was in that ski mask wasn't Jay and they had hugged you. The thought alone made your skin crawl as you looked out the window to try and spot the man who you were talking to moments ago. You looked out each window of your house to find nothing every time. You ended up just sleeping on it and deciding to forget about the experience in general.

(Sorry if this seems rushed I was just trying to finish it along with school work. Anyway this will be the last chapter of this book. The next one will be about the new book so the update might take longer then usual. I hope you enjoyed this last and final chapter.)
