The ski mask

You were always what you considered a normal person. You had a house a stable job and didn't really stick out of the crowd to much. You blended in along side the rest of the crowd just becoming one of 100 other faces you'd see any other day. Yet you someone had gained someone's interest a very dangerous someone's interest.

You were outside a small candy shop with one of person hanging up little Ghosts. It was that wonderful time of the year when you could traumatize kids and get away with it. The streets of the town were already decorated head to toe in Halloween decorations. You and Nicole had been decorating the candy store the entire evening with only 50% of the decorations up. The night was approaching and the cold air was really starting to come in which effected you into bundling up into a small ball on the ground. Nicole noticing the time and how cold it had gotten decided that it was enough for today and dragged you to a nearby diner to get something to eat.

The diner was the most famous in the town considering it was the towns only 24/7 diner. You and Nicole sat down near a window seat while waiting for your waitress to come take you order when something outside caught your eye. A person in a yellow hoodie was leaning against a street pole staring or what you could assume staring right at you. The person was wearing a very odd ski mask so it was hard to tell where they were looking. It was a fully black ski mask with a red Frown on it.

You thought nothing of it because it was October people were bound to dress up and walk around outside in costumes so you just smiled and waved towards the persons they seemed to tense up as soon as you waved towards them. You would've stared longer but you and Nicole's waitress finally arrived to take your orders. Nicole ordered a Hamburger along with a Coco cola while you decided to order (your order).

After the waitress walked away you turned your gaze back to the window to find the yellow hooded person gone. You shrugged it off and decided to try and talk with Nicole for a bit about what she planned to do on Halloween night.

~Time Skip~

You and Nicole has just finished your food as you walked out of the diner. It has gotten pretty late, it was around 10 am and the streets were almost completely summered in darkness.

"Hey if it's alright with you I could walk you home Y/N." Nicole offered. She normally always did walk you home whenever you stayed out late but this time around you felt like you should just head home alone tonight.
