You were desperate at this point, you couldn't take the constant pain of being sick so you accepted the offer almost immediately. Dr. Smiley seemed rather pleased by this, he smiled a bit as he he led you back to his Clinic. Something about his smile though felt off. When you first saw it you felt so many chills go up your spine and some of your hairs raise. You quickly just shook it off and followed him just wanting to be cured of this disease.
You slowly started to arrive to the clinic. (Warning I have no clue what the clinic looks like so this is somewhat of a head cannon.) From a distance it looked quite nice, but as you grew closer you noticed it seemed a little more decayed. It was a one story clinic with some over growth in the sides of the building, the glass windows all dusted up as if they haven't been cleaned for months.
You looked back at Dr.Smiley as he continued to head for the disheveled clinic. You had this feeling you should turn backs that you should reject the offer, but alas you couldn't not when you were this desperate to be cured of your unknown illness. You and Dr.smiley walked in side the building, him seeming to have more a pep to his step while you hesitated on even entering.
The inside wasn't as bad as the outside, it was a small bit more well kept still a bit dusty in some corners though. The wooden floored creaked under both of your foot steps. It would be impossible to not make a noise in this place while moving around. You slowly approached a door near the end of the hallway. It looked better then the other doors. Unlike the other doors this one didn't look like it would collapse upon opening it, but it still looked pretty bad due to the painting slowly peeling off it. Something about the door caught your eye though, on the door there appeared to be scratch marks. You couldn't get a good look before Dr.Smiley opened the door and motioned for you to go in first.
"Patient's first~" he spoke with a charmed smile, he truly was a gentlemen in a way, but something in the back of your mind still told you to not trust him. You hesitated before entering and you stopped in complete shock. It's like you had entered a entirely new hospital the room was spotless and full of medicine and was just pure white, it was practically blinding. Dr.Smiley seemed amused by your surprised face, he headed over to a desk in the corner of the room probably to get some things. You slowly say down on the examination table still in shook off how different the room looked compared to the rest of the clinic.
"Okay Miss/Mister L/N before I can help you, I must know the symptoms of your disease. What has been happening and how long you've had this." Dr.Smiley sat next to holding a pen and clipboard.
"Well doctor it started back a few weeks ago, it just started off as a cough but then it got worse. I started randomly passing out and throwing up random times of the day. My skin has even got paler then usual and I can't hold anything I eat down." You explained while pointing at your skin.
"I see I'll have to run a few tests to be sure but I think I know what your ill of." Dr.Smiley explained while walking back over to his desk. You were for once hopeful you never thought this illness would pass and you honestly were expecting to die because of it. Dr smiley came back over with some pill bottle.
"Okay Y/N I recommend you take these once a day until the tests come back alright?"
"When will the tests be done Doctor?"
"Only three days till then I suggest you go home and try to rest and try avoiding solid foods." Dr.smiley announced as he handed you the pills. You jumped up from the table and probably thanked him a thousand times before leaving the room. You walked down the dusty hallway heading towards the door before stopping. You smelt something, something bad it smelt like death. How didn't you smell this on the way in? You turned your head to where the smell was coming and it lead to a very deceased looking door. It was a tall oak door with scratches all over it and it looked like it was going to fall off its hinges if anyone attempted to open it. The doorknob even seemed to be broken as it hung from some wire still keeping it barley attached to the door.
