Another Chance (My Hero Academia)

Chapter 17

*Riki's POV*

It was day three of this hero training thingy and I got a call from All Might asking about me being with GT. I lied and said it was all good and Izuku has been fighting GT so many times I had to wait outside. He obviously believed it because that's exactly what GT would do.

Today, I was actually going out on my own. I was going to stay in the shadows and just wander about the city, mostly watching over Iida. That's why I was doing all this and why, when my dad said not to get into any trouble, it was too late because I had already begun. The entire reason I picked GT is because he forgets shit and he'd be busy with Izuku, giving me all the free time in the world to watch over Iida who's had a bad aura ever since the sports festival.

I put on my hero costume and teleported to the hotel roof. It was five in the afternoon and I knew that this was the time heroes do most their patrols because of the villains. I ran across the rooftops and stopped in my spot, staring out into the distance.

"Oh for the love of..." I muttered before teleporting onto a water tower. I appeared behind the two with my arms crossed, "Tenko, what are you doing?"

"Who are you?" Kurogiri asked, ready to attack.

"Leave her alone." Tenko, or should I say Tomura, ordered sternly.

"So what are you- oh boy" I said while walking up to him, seeing a bunch of Nomu.

"After dawn, Stain won't be remembered." Tomura smiled evilly and I rolled my eyes.

"You jealous man-child" I sighed and teleported away, not missing his whine of protest.

I appeared on a building and saw three Nomu make their way into the city. I ran across the rooftops, searching for Iida, knowing this is when Stain would take his chance to kill. I eventually found Iida and he was with Manuel. Suddenly, screams were heard along with explosions that I knew didn't belong to Bakugo.

"Fucking Nomu...Iida...goddamnit!" I cussed

I'm the only one who can take down a Nomu with ease...but Iida needs to be watched.

The only way I could do this was to use my other quirks.

I growled, and ran after Iida, leaving the Nomu to destroy the city. Yes, I'm leaving the city in the hands of the Nomu, but there will be multiple heroes around...yet no one will be with Iida. So, I had to go after him, knowing he was most likely going for revenge.

He wanted to kill Stain.

I followed Iida and when he bolted into an alley, that's when I saw Stain. Iida had no chance against him, which is what Stain showed when he whipped around and knocked the helmet and glasses off Iida's head. I teleported down into the alley and stood in the shadows.

"Leave kid" Stain ordered but Iida just stood back up.

"I've been looking for you..." Iida dragged on and I pinched the bridge of my nose, letting out a soft sigh.

Stain held up his katana and pointed it at Iida, "You have avenging eyes kid. Leave now before you get in the way and become a target."

You better walk the fu-

"I am Tenya Iida! The brother of the pro hero that you've slain! Never forget the name Ingenium, the hero who will take you down!" Iida said loudly and I facepalmed, shaking my head.

"Fucking idiot" I muttered

"Oh, you're serious? Well then kid, prepare for death." Stain grinned and I threw my arms in the air.
