"You wouldn't understand." I hiccuped
"Yes we would. I cried too because of the lives that were lost."
I cried harder, "Why can't you just leave me alone?!"
"Because that's not what friends do."

~Present~
I screamed out a sob before I kicked Kirishima in the stomach, sending him back to the class who yelped in surprise.
"Riki, you need to calm down." All Might said while bending down next to me.
"Get away from me!" I cried loudly, going back into my fetal position as everyone stared at me sadly.
"What'd you say to her?" Midoriya asked
"I told that friends don't leave their friends all alone in situations like this." Kirishima groaned while holding his stomach.
"Riki, can you at least come back to UA with us?" Momo asked while taking All Might's spot.
"No. Leave me here." I cried
"Please, Riki, we aren't leaving without you." My father said
"How many people died?" Mineta's voice asked, echoing through my ears.
"Dude! Not the time!" Denki scolded
"What?!"
"That is not how you talk at a place like this and it's even worse with Riki's situation!" Iida scolded.
"Riki, can you please get up?" Momo asked softly, trying to get my hands out of my hair.
"No" I cried
"Why not?"
"Because I belong here!"
"No you don't." Momo said while running the top of my hand.
"Yes I do." I sobbed
"No, you don't, Riki. Come on, let's go back to UA. I can make you some tea and we can relax or talk in your room if you'd like?"
"Just leave me here! I'll go back when I want to!"
"We're not letting you stay in the rain, Riki. You don't even have the proper stuff. You'll get sick."
"I don't care"
"Riki, if you don't get up, I'm sorry, but I will carry you, instead." My father spoke
"No" I cried out, my voice cracking.
"Aww" I heard Mina say in the back.
"I'm sorry, Riki, but I'm not letting you stay out in the pouring rain to get sick. Especially with the work study coming up. That's too important to miss." My father spoke
"This is more important to me." I hiccuped
"Lying in the rain with a bunch of dead strangers?" Mineta asked
"Seriously?" Sero asked in disbelief.
"So what if they're strangers, she's hurt by this and that's what matters! Anyone would be upset to find out about this." Kirishima exclaimed
They're not strangers.
"Riki, can you get up?" Momo asked
"I don't want to leave." I sobbed, "I p-promised t-them."
