*Riki's POV*We all stood in a line out on the field, my father being in front of us.
"This will be your first exam. This quirk apprehension test will show me who's worth it and who's not. That being said, whoever ends the exam with the lowest score will be expelled." My father said and the class lost it.
"WHAT?!" The class yelled and started rambling.
"That's not fair! We just got here, you can't expel us on the first day!" Uraraka said
"Life is full of unfairness. You have villain attacks, natural disasters, wrecks, etc, those are all unfair but we can't do anything about it. If you have a problem with how I run my class, then you can go home."
The class seemed to quiet down after that little speech before Uraraka spoke again, "What about orientation?"
My dad shrugged, "Not my problem. You have more important things to do than get a little welcoming. I can run my class however I want and you guys will be missing orientation. Now, Bakugo, how far could you throw in middle school?"
"Uh, 67 meters I think."
"Do it again but use your quirk and stay inside the circle." My dad said and threw him a ball.
He walked into the circle before he brought his arm back, "DIE!!" He screamed while launching the ball into the air, a huge explosion going off.
"705.2 meters" my dad announced while jotting down the score as everyone stared in awe.
What a nice quirk to steal some day.
We all watched as Uraraka went up into the circle and just stood there. Her ball floated up into the sky and kept going, all the way up until...
"INFINITY?!" The class gaped
Ohh...could you do that with a person?
Next was...Midoriya, the "quirkless" broccoli head. He stood in the circle and green sparks cracked around his body as he went to throw the ball. The ball didn't go far as my dad erased his quirk, making it drop after some meters.
"H-huh?!" Midoriya exclaimed, "Y-you're the underground hero, Eraserhead!" He stuttered in shock when he and the class realized who he was.
"You don't have control over your quirk. Using it as you please leaves you destroyed as previous events have shown. If your own quirk destroys you then you're not capable of being a hero." My dad said sternly, completely ignoring the class's knowledge of him being Eraserhead.
Am I the only one who thinks it obvious??
Midoriya looked shocked before he nodded in determination, causing me to roll my eyes. He got ready to throw the ball again, seeing that he had his quirk back. He brought his arm back before the green sparks came back, making me squint my eyes. The class all got a nice gust of wind as Midoriya threw the ball, sending the power of his quirk only through his fingertip, leaving it purple and broken.
Hmm, his quirk...
"See Aizawa Sensei? I'm still standing." Midoriya spoke.
"Your finger is still broken. Work on your quirk or else you're out of here." My dad spoke, "705.3 meters"
I watched as Bakugo growled deeply at Midoriya getting a higher score than him. Those two obviously had some sort of past together.
The rest of the class went, leaving only myself to do the ball throw. I didn't steal anyone's quirk, instead I mentally used my death quirk to cancel the gravity on the ball.
I walked into the circle and concentrated on the ball, making it float, letting it rise into the sky.
"Hey that's my quirk!" Uraraka exclaimed as I relaxed, glad I didn't destroy the ball or kill anyone.
Two very distinct things, I know.
"Infinity" my dad said, jotting down the information.
"Do we have similar quirks?" Uraraka asked as we all walked off to the next test.
"Uhh, no not really." I chuckled
The next two hours were full of us all doing our tests...and hearing Bakugo yell at Midoriya. My father wasn't really happy with them going back and forth...well Bakugo yelling like crazy every five seconds. While my father has been dealing with Bakugo, the girls and I have been deal with Mineta who has been winking at us, eyeing us all up and down.
"I think Midoriya is getting expelled.." Uraraka said sadly as we walked to go see the scoreboard.
"I don't see it, have faith in the kid!" Mina said as we approached the screen that held our names in positions.
Hey, cool, I got 1st place.
"Good job Riki! You got first!" Mina cheered
"But Midoriya got last" Iida said as everyone was now staring at Midoriya.
My father rolled his eyes as Midoriya looked as if he was about to cry, "I lied. No one's getting expelled. Now go change before lunch begins."
"WHAT! WHY WOULD YOU LIE?!" The class freaked as I made a duck face, furrowing my eyebrows.
Nahh, he didn't lie, he sees Midoriya's crazy determination.
"It made you give it your all."
"But that scared us! I thought I was going to get expelled!" The class rambled.
"It was obviously a lie." Momo said, causing all the attention to whip to her.
"Yeah, I thought you guys knew that..." I said
"DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT?!" They screeched
"Sorry..." Momo and I mumbled, even though I personally didn't care.

We all went to the cafeteria and after I got my lunch, I found Shoto sitting all alone at a table. I smiled widely and walked with a slight hop over to his table.
"I hope you didn't forget.." I sang while plopping down in front of him, causing him to look up from his soba. "Hey! We even like soba!"
He just stared at me and hummed before going back to his food.
"Did you get in by recommendations?" I asked and he nodded.
"Ah, right, your dickhead of a father is Endeavor." I sighed and he slowly looked up at me, noodles hanging out of his mouth.
I stared back at him, noodles hanging from my mouth as well, "I don't like your old man. He's a bratty dick." I said casually while slurping my soba.
"You think it's okay to insult people like that? Not very hero like." He said
"Woah, your voice is deeper than I thought. And yes, I say what people are too afraid to say just like yourself."
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked, raising a brow.
"Your old man is a dick and you know it, but you have yet to say it out loud."
"How would you know?"
"Well...have you?" I asked, leaning forward.
He squinted his eyes at me and stayed silent, "Your father isn't a good person, the whole world should see it but they don't. His flames are his ego, covering who he truly is and I find that extremely pathetic. So! If you ever need someone to run away with, I'm your girl!"
"No thanks" he muttered
I hummed, "Time will tell Shoto, I know you don't like him and honestly who would? I just want you to know that I don't want one of my friends dealing with that shit and I can't help."
"I didn't come here to make friends."
"Neither did I, but I don't care. We're friends now. I've never met someone with heterochromia so I find it cool that we can match on that. It's nice to know I'm not alone." I smiled softly and I saw him glance up at me.
This kid will be my friend no matter what.
