Chapter 63

*Riki's POV*

"Eri, come back here. You guys don't need a cursed girl like her. I can return her back to normal whenever I want." Kai said while blowing the walls up.

As rubble flew everywhere, I trapped Eri and Mirio in a dome so they wouldn't get hurt.

"Shut it with your lies! She's not cursed, she has a quirk just like 80% of the world's population! She's perfectly fine the way she is!" I yelled angrily while using my telekinesis to whirl a bunch of rocks around him.

My dome had fallen and I felt Mirio go through the wall as I went after Kai. Mirio went after Chrono, who had just woken up, wrapping Eri in his cape.

"You're a piece of shit! You are a monster!" I screamed while attacking Kai with my sword, erasing his quirk.

He tried to grab my sword but all that happened was his hands getting cut.

"So are you. Why even bother?" He asked while fighting back.

"Because I have a job to do. And that's to protect the innocent from monsters like you!" I growled while wrapping my sword around his legs.

I was too caught up in fighting Kai, I didn't realize that I had been shot with a quirk-erasing bullet.

And so did Mirio.

"Well would you look at that? Two heroes without a quirk." Kai teased as he used his quirk to destroy my sword.

"Who says I don't have a quirk?" I asked while a black cage formed around us, the cage now being indestructible.

"Just leave, Riki, you're not going to win." Kai said while lunging at me.

I took in a slight breath when my stomach was impaled thanks to Kai. But, that didn't bother me.

"You think that'll work? After all the pain I've been through- you're better off killing me!" I yelled while attacking him, my right side drenched in blood.

We fought back and forth, both of us getting scratched up pretty bad as we attacked each other with our quirks, making the ground blow up around us. Soon, the wall blew up and I was flung back, the cage going down as I can only hold the formation so long. I was bleeding from my head, stomach, arms, and leg. My stomach and head were the worst.

"Both of you will never get your quirks back." Kai said while turning into a monstrous creature.

"I don't give a damn...as long as Eri is safe." I growled while getting up, being pretty sure my leg was broken.

Now, Nighteye's Squad was here and Deku was dealing with Overhaul.

I fully stood up, watching Nighteye swap places with Deku. My father was dragged out of the fight by Chronostasis. I stumbled forward before I stopped in horror, my eyes going wide.

Nighteye was fully impaled with a large spike.

I growled loudly before Deku and I entered the fight. I finally tore my gloves off, having enough of this evil man.

"SMASH!" Deku yelled before he was flung back and injured.

"I'M SICK OF MONSTERS LIKE YOU!!" I screamed in rage while jumping in the air over spikes. My hair turned black and my eyes turned black and red.

I clapped my hands together as I landed, a huge wave of black fire came from my hands and drenched Overhaul. He screamed in pain as the ground blew up, black rock monsters forming and attacking him. A huge explosion went off and I was flung back into spikes, black dots invading my vision. I couldn't tell if it was the dots or rocks that came from the ceiling as it blew up. I assumed it was both. I laid back in the spikes, my body being punctured in multiple places to the point where I could be considered dead. But I'm not. Not yet.
