I watched Brian from the edge of the soccer field with Amelia, Claire, Briella, Lyric, Aaliyah, and Kaye
As they talked and giggled, I focused on Brian. I loved the way he focused on the ball and when he passed it, he passed it with speed, gentleness, and he was careful on where it went. Once he had the ball, you weren't going to get it back. It was funny to see most of the guys, who don't struggle in soccer, struggle for once. He gave them a challenge.
I knew he knew I was watching him. I could just feel it.
The way his hair flies back in the wind.
I heard Ly, Bri, and Claire laughing and giggling about Colton, as Amelia leaned in closer too my ear.
"Hehe he just looked at you. I don't know why though... He should have looked at me."
I was about to kill her! That was so mean! My face turned a bright tomato red. I don't know why, but whenever someone makes fun of me I turn red. Something I do. Everyone has there weird habits.
Colton was trying to catch up with Brian. He was calling his name over and over but he just couldn't get his attention. This is proof he is so dedicated to soccer. He can't even hear his own name. He can only hear the sound of other people kicking the ball to get it from one teammate to the other...
Brian blushed at whatever Colton had said to him, which usually meant that it was something about a girl. Which girl?
The bell rang and Brian walked back with a shrug on his shoulders and his head down.
Brian lift your head up... so I can see your eyes...
