Thomas's POV:
This is a really big step for us, and I know Mia and I still live in the hype house but she has serious baby fever. I'm ready to do this for her.
I turn on my camera.

"What's up guys, and welcome back to the vlog. As you've probably seen in the thumbnail, I'll be adopting someone today! So often we forget our privilege as content creators, and I think we can make someone's life that much better by adopting a tiny human. Also Mia has been sending me baby photos for the past 2 months so hahahahaha." We drive to the orphanage and I get ready to find Mia's little surprise. I wanted to be authentic and choose on the day so I bribed a social worker to be able to take the child of my choosing home today.

Luna's POV:

Some rich looking people walk through the door of the home. Mrs Carter tells us all to line up like good kids. But as all the people do, they walk straight through us to the baby room. I see them looking at Issy, the baby I always come and visit when I'm bored. Who better to talk to than a baby, when all the kids at the home bully you for being half-black half-latina? Mrs Carter needs to go to the bathroom so I quickly run in to save Issy. What if it's another abusive home like my uncle's? She's safer here, where she can stay safe. I'll save her and if all goes well, I'll come back for her.

"Really?" I say. "Going for the babies? Typical, they pretend they're here to help people but they're actually here to help themselves. Free spawn, not pre-used." I roll my eyes.
"Do you know who the fuck I am?" the man with the camera says.
"I don't know and I don't really care. I'm an orphan remember. I wouldn't know you rich folk. Let me guess, your wife or girlfriend has a case of baby fever and you're using it for free publicity," I say with faux confidence.
"I- I- um..." he says.
"Not my first rodeo. Tell you what, if I can beat you in arm-wrestling, you leave Issy the fuck alone and take me instead," I say building confidence. I will definitely win. I know these rich types, classic case of toxic masculinity. Think the win against The Machine is guaranteed.
"Alright," he said smiling. HA! I've trapped him now. Issy will live to be safe another day.

We sit down at the table and he ties our hands together with his chain. Here we go . . .
