I know its hard to lose weight. I know because I'm going through it. I use to weight 215lb and for the age and height I was over weight. I always felt unsure of my body. I didn't like how I looked, the way the clothes fit me, I always had to wear a jacket so no one can see my own weight hanging from my body. I hated myself. Will hate is a strong word. More to say I didn't like the way I looked. Sometimes I didn't see myself in the mirror. But something change one day that all change.
The day that changed all that was the day when me and my mom were about to buy some clothes for school. Over the summer I decided to lose weight. I didn't do a good job on loss it. But any way, in 7th grade I was size 13 for pants and size L for shirts, then when we went to buy clothes I was size 15 and XL. I wasn't so excited to see the results of my weight. In that moment I realized that I wasn't doing the right thing on eating. I was eating junk food and too much white rice over the summer. That when I told my mom that I was going to be more healthier and more active.

Fitness helps you feel better and have more energy for work and leisure time. You'll feel more able to do things like playing with your family, gardening, dancing, or biking. Children and teens who are fit may have more energy and better focus at school. When you stay active and fit, you burn more calories, even when you're at rest. Being fit lets you do more physical activity. And it lets you exercise harder without as much work. It can also help you manage your weight.
Improving your fitness is good for your heart, lungs, bones, muscles, and joints. And it lowers your risk for falls, heart attack, diabetes, high blood pressure, and some cancers. If you already have one or more of these problems, getting more fit may help you control other health problems and make you feel better.
Being more fit also can help you to sleep better, handle stress better, and keep your mind sharp.
