Virgils POV

"Ugh. That lying snake!"

Lying? Everything Janus said was true. But Romans fragile ego can't handle that. "Roman, I think he was telling the truth."

"Don't tell me you're taking his side!"

"I'm not, it's just he made some good points. And Logan seemed really emotional, so it's wrong to say he doesn't have emotion when he didn't want to show them. Probably because of Patton!"

Patton joins the conversation. "I did nothing wrong!"

"What about purposefully making another side feel unneeded and unimportant and how could I forget? I don't know, slapping them?!" I'm mad now. How could Patton paint Janus and Remus in such a negative light when he is the real bad guy. They are the nice ones, I kind of regret leaving them. I thought I would have a better shot at helping Thomas being part of the "lightsides", but I miss them.

"He was lying! I never slapped him! He's probably been spending too much time with Deceit."

How could he say that?! I was there when he slapped Logan. I saw the fear in his eyes. I saw the sadness he had retelling the story just a few minutes ago. I expect Janus to rise up but I think he's a little preoccupied.

"If anyone is lying Patton, it's you. I was there when you did it! I was watching the whole thing only to comfort him after you left!" The color in Pattons face drains.

Roman looks at me in anger. But why? "It was you."

"What are you talking about?" I feel myself sinking down.

I pulled into the mindscape again with Roman grabbing me. "You were the one that helped Logic escape!"

"So what? They're better for him!"

Romans grip loosens slightly but not enough for me to get out of it. "Well if you like the darksides sooo much, how about you go to them!"

Wait, is he trying to banish me back to the "darkside"?! I feel myself being pulled down once again. "Roman wait-"

Janus' POV

I rise up in the "darkside" to an adorable sight. Remus is laying on the couch with Logan sleeping on his chest. Remus is playing with Logans hair, almost petting him like you would a cat.

"So what happened?" I whisper as to not wake my sleeping boyfriend.

"After what Patton said, he remembered everything Patton did to him. He broke down, but after what he told me, I don't blame him." Remus whispers back.

I sit down with them for a minute. Suddenly I hear yelling.

"-ait!" Someone yells.

I look to see Virgil standing there. He hasn't been here in years.

"Virgil?!"
