Logans POV

Thomas makes the others stay with us, much to my dissatisfaction. We try to hint that it would be better if they just left, but nothing seems to be working.

Roman continues to get on my nerves. He gets really close to me and gets really physical with his movements, hitting me multiple times. But I can't say anything because he would just play innocent.

Janus if having the same problem. Roman keeps making small comments about him. Anything he can think of, his scales, his height, his outfit, what he represents, even his reactions to the comments. But Janus can't do anything without risk of being painted as the "villain".

Janus' POV

Logan looks really uncomfortable around Roman. He keeps stroking Nekos scales, something he does to calm his nerves. I notice Roman keeps being really aggressive with him. Like a playful push would turn into him nearly losing his footing and falling over.

I really want to help but I'm having my own Roman problem. He keeps making hurtful jabs at me or my appearance and plays it off as a joke. He's telling a story about the dragon witch and he keeps going back to talking about their "horrid scales" slightly looking over to me every time.

I'm fighting the urge to either cry or rip him limb from limb.

Remus' POV

My good-for-nothing brother is trying to get on my boyfriends nerves. I can tell. I want to go break every bone in his body but I know that's what he's waiting for, for me to break.

I can't though, for Janus' sake. I don't really care about labels, but he does and me hurting Roman will get us both labeled "villains".

I think that what Roman wants. He wants us to go back to dark vs. light sides. I won't let that happen.

I find Virgil pacing in the kitchen, probably panicking about something.

"Hey V?"

He looks up at me. "Yeah?"

"I think Roman's purposefully getting on Janus and Logans nerves and he needs to leave before I break."

"I get it but how?"

I didn't think of this part. "I don't know, we need an excuse."

"What about if we say we need to plan a surprise or something? That way they can't ask questions about it because that would be 'ruining the surprise'."

"It could work."

"But we still need to talk to the others about the plan though."

I think for a moment. "Leave that to me."
