The Date-part 2

Remus' POV

I'm lying on a picnic blanket with Logans head on my chest and Janus curled up next to me. Logans pointing out all the constellations and saying facts about them with star in his eyes. I'm not really understanding all of what he's saying but he looks so happy.

Janus sits up a bit and yawns. I think he fell asleep next to me. He looks around before giving a tiny gasp. He moves off the blanket and grabs something from the grass.

"Darlings look!" He hold out a small green snake for us to see.

"It's a opheodrys vernalis, or smooth green snake." Logan explains

"It's name is 'smooth green snake'?" I ask

"Not the most exciting name."

"They're so cute!" Janus squeals as the snake makes it's way up his arm. He looks like a little kid. "Can we keep them?" He looks at us with puppy dog eyes, he knows we can't say no.

"Janus, you know it's not right to take an animal out of it's natural habitat." I stand corrected.

"Aww..." He pouts slightly. "But I guess you're right." He puts his arm down on the ground letting the snake slither off of him. "Be free my snakey friend!"

"You're so adorable."

"Hey!"

"What? It's true!"

He hisses at me and pouts for a moment before he lays back down next to me.

"See, you're adorable."

"No I'm not!" He says with his face on my chest. Yeah right.

I start running a hand through his hair as Logan continues saying facts about the stars.

-time skip to the next morning-

I sit up. Where am I? I look around. Oh! Our date!

I look down are my sleepy snakey boyfriend and my nerdy- Where's Logan?!

I get up and search around. What if my brother took him?! What if he brainwashed him into taking  his side and then he-

"Hello Remus!"

I look up to the tree. Logan's in the tree! Wait... Logan's in the tree?

"What are you doing up there Logie?" I laugh.

"Research."

"Isn't that going to ruin your dress?" I look at his already dirt stained dress.

He shrugs. "I have others and this is more fun!" He climbs further up. "Come on!"

"Okay!" I start to climb. Logan stops to wait for me.

I sit down next to him. "Isn't the view amazing?"

I look out to see the rest of my imagination with it's blood lakes and bone mountains. I can even see a bit of Romans picture perfect fairytale half.

"Um... Darlings? Why are you in a tree?" Janus is down at the bottom of the tree staring up at us.

"Why not?" I say kicking my legs a bit.

"I think we should get back. Virgil probably freaked out when he saw that we didn't come home." He's not wrong.

I jump down a few branches at a time while Logan just climbs down normally. "Let go!"

We start to walk back to the main part of the mindpalace. Logan turns to us. "So would you say the date was satisfactory?"

"More than that dearest." Janus take a hand from both of us. "It was perfect."
