Neko the Beast

Thomas' POV

Now I'm sitting on the "darksides" couch playing Mario Kart with the others. Logan had to go work on my schedule so he's not playing with us.

"Suck a dick Remus!" Virgil yells after Remus hits him with a red shell.

"I will, Janus'." He looks over at Janus. It's still really weird having the aspects of my personality dating. Would it be self love?

"Remussssss." Janus hisses at him. He pushes Remus off the couch making Remus' character fall of the edge of the track.

"You really don't know how to take a joke JJ." He gets back on the couch.

We play a few more rounds before Janus seems to get an idea.

"Wait here Thomas, I have to show you something." He smiles and runs off.

I don't think I've ever really seen him genuinely smile before today. I try to remember a time but get interrupted by a snake being place on the shoulders. Wait, A SNAKE?!

"Ta da! This is Neko!" Janus introduces the snake.

I look down to Neko, he's black with a simple yellow pattern along his back. He kind of reminds me of Janus' outfit. "What kind of snake is he?"

Janus lightly strokes the head of his snake. "I don't really know. He's kind of a mix between a bunch of types. You created him when you were a kid and child you did really think about the different types of snakes when creating him. I think you just kind of thought: snake, and came up with his design."

"Woah, so you've had him for a long time huh?"

"Yeah, I wish I could have shown you him earlier, but Patton's afraid of snakes and Roman will probably try to "slay" him to "save" Patton from the "scaled beast". Kind of like me huh?" Janus laughs sadly.

He looks around for a bit. "I killed the mood didn't I?"

"Just a bit, but are the others really that bad?"

"They can be." Janus sighs.

"Well maybe they changed?" Patton and Roman have probably seen the error of their ways in the past few weeks. They've had to, right?

Remus looks around surprisingly calm. "I don't know Thomas, my brother may seem like a nice person but he can be pretty bad behind closed doors."

"Well, your brother has said the same kind of stuff about you so it goes both ways." I want my sides to get along. I have an idea. "What if I bring them here and we could all hang out."

The sides around me look uneasy. Janus finally speaks. "Well we can't stop you Thomas, we just advise against it."

"It's going to be fine Janus, they've probably seen that they were in the wrong and feel bad about it." I summon Patton, Roman and Logan.
