Another idea

Logans POV

I finally start explaining the situation that happened last night. This time with no interruptions from Remus.

Once I finish Thomas looks shocked. "So Remus just calmed down?!"

Remus looks up with annoyance. "I'm right here ya know!" This is one of the only things he's said for a while. "And I want to tell you my side now!"

"Okay?"

Remus goes on to explain what happened before I arrived. He added lots of detail on how he wanted to get revenge on Roman. Ultimately worsening our chances of coming out as the good guys.

He gets bored halfway through. "Hey Thomas, can you summon JJ, I'm bored."

Thomas looks to him confused. "JJ?"

"Ya know, my adorably short snakey boyfriend?"

"Oh Janus. I mean why not." He makes a summoning hand motion and Janus rises up in Virgils spot, not really having a set spot.

"Hi JJ!"

Janus looks around. "Why was I summoned?"

"I don't know, I was bored." Remus explains.

"What are you even doing?"

"I'm explaining why I attacked Roman!"

Janus' eyes go wide. "YOU WHAT?!" He turns to me. "You told me it was nothing to worry about!"

Oh no. He's going to start overthinking.

He begins to mumble to himself about being labeled as a villain again, how he should  have been more careful around Remus' temper and how he should have tried to stop him. He's good at hiding his emotions and he's quiet about it so only I can hear him.

I move Remus' hands to let go of my waist and move over to my nervous boyfriend.

"Hey it's okay, stop panicking."

This confuses everyone else, because to them he seems fine.

"I-I'm n-n-not p-panicking!" He stutters.

"Yes you are, your overthinking the situation again." He looks down. "Would it help if I summoned Neko?" He nods silently.

I lift up my hand and Neko appears around his shoulders. Neko cuddles up to him. He gives an adorable small smile.

"Well that was adorable." Thomas says(platonically!).

Janus' face goes red with embarrassment. "Whatever! Jusssssst get on with the it!"

"Oh right!" Thomas gets back on the subject on hand. "So I guess you guys aren't getting along as much as I had hoped."

The twins glare and each other.

"But what about that surprise?" He asks

Me, Janus and Remus exchange a look. I sigh. "That was all a fabrication to get them to leave."

Thomas looks confused and slightly hurt.

"Don't worry Thomas, it wasn't you." I reassure him. "It was more Roman. He was making both me and Janus very uncomfortable with his actions and words." Janus nods confirming my story.

"Well I'm sorry you guys can't handle simple interactions." Roman said quietly so only me and Janus could hear him.

"Well" Thomas says. "I had this idea..."
