Third Pov

The next morning, Vanya woke up to the sounds of someone hurling their guts out in the bathroom. Getting up and out of bed, she hurried to find who the source of the noise was.

"Five? Ro-ro?" She called out, knocking on the bathroom door.

"Vanya? Is that you?" A haggard female voice replied, which meant that it was Lina.

"Yeah, it's me. Is something wrong, Carolina? Do you... do you need me to get you a pregnancy test or something?"

"We're not so shameless as to go down and get dirty at a siblings' house, Vanya. I'm not pregnant, so I'll be fine. I'm just- *blaaaargh* ...hungover......." Lina groaned.

"Oh. Uh, do you know where Five went? He's not in the living room."

"He's out. Wasn't here when I woke up. Although I do have a guess on where he is."

"All right. I'm glad you're okay. I'll leave some water on the table, so take your time."

"Thanks- *blurgh*"

Five was at the prosthetics company that had made the glass eye sitting in his pocket. His goal was to find the owner- who was most likely to have caused the apocalypse. Indistinct chatter filled the air around him as patients, customers, and staff members walked to and fro through the lobby.

"I wonder if she's awake... maybe I should've left her a note," Five muttered to himself, thinking about Lina as he looked around the place.

"Uh, can I help you?" A male staff member asked, getting Five's attention.

"I need to know who this belongs to," Five said, holding up the glass eye.

"Where did you get that?"

"What do you care?" Five retorted, before noticing the suspicion growing in the male's eyes.

"I... I found it, at a playground, actually. Must have just uh, popped out. I want to return it to its rightful owner." He continued, giving the staff member his best fake smile.

"Oh... what a thoughtful young man." The receptionist lady commented, smiling.

"Yeah. Look up the name for me, would ya?" Five requested.

"Uh, I'm sorry, but patient records are strictly confidential. That means I can't tell you-" The staff member cut in.

"Yeah, I know what it means."

"Yeah, but I can tell you what I can do. I'll take the glass eye off your hands, and return it to the owner. I'm sure he or she will be very grateful, so if I can just-"

"Yeah, you're not touching this eye." Five stated, his steely gaze intimidating the man a little.

"Now, you listen here, young man-"

"No!! You listen to me, you asshole. I've come a long way for this- leaving my wife all alone at a sibling's place and though some shit your pea brain couldn't even comprehend, so just give me the information I need, and I'll be on my merry way."

The staff member took a breath to say something but was stopped when Five decided to threaten him even further.

"And if you call me "young man" one more time, I'm going to put your head through that damn wall. Understand?"

"Oh, dear." The receptionist muttered.

In the end, the staff called security- leaving Five to leave without any answers.

--- Lina Pov ---

After Vanya finished up with her violin lesson, we went to the ol' Umbrella Academy. By now, Five should've finished talking to the company staff about that glass eye... and if my assumption is correct, then he would've failed. So by the time we arrive, he would've roped Klaus into acting as a parent in order to get the information we need. I thought, following Vanya up the stairs to Five's room.

"-Thanks, but I think I'm going to get some rest. It's been a long time since I've had a good sleep. Is Lina here with you?"

I heard Five say, just as I entered his room. Vanya said goodbye, gave me a quick hug and left.

"Klaus, you can come out now," I called out, just as the druggie of a brother tumbled out of Five's closet.

"Wait- how'd you-"

"Five, we've been married for fifty years. And I'm as much of an assassin as you are. What kind of wife and lover would I be if I couldn't even tell what my dear husband is up to?" I said.

"That's so... touching, all that stuff about family and love. Wow!!" Klaus commented, spilling everything inside the closet onto the floor as he wobbled out of the closet.

"Pfft---"

I couldn't hold my laughter as Klaus's outfit came into sight. He had some kind of weird flower-patterned, ruffled shoulder Chinese shirt with a bright green background on along with pants that were held together by two black shoelaces crisscrossing up the sides. It was quite the contrast from the rich-looking uniform that Five was wearing.

"Lina, don't laugh!!" Five protested.

"But- you and Klaus- wearing those- as dad and son- I can't-" I said, trying to stop my laughter to no avail.

Until he kissed me, full on the lips, hands cupping my face.
