Third Pov

As Syd whimpered and cried Cha-cha started to question if the old man in front of her really was Number Five. She'd heard terrifying stories about the male. and the wonderful work that he'd done with the Commission's other best agent, Carol.

"Does Number Five seem like he'd be a whimperer to you?" Cha-cha asked, questioning herself as she looked at the pitiful old man in front of her.

"Not from what I heard. All I know is that Five and Carol are madly in love with each other, is married, and are the most dangerous agents the Commission has ever known." Hazel replied.

Cha-cha took the picture of Five that she'd gotten from the package that the Commission had sent to them and placed it near the bruised, bloodied, and battered man's face.

"That seems close enough to me," Hazel commented.

"Strong resemblance, I'll grant you that. But the space between the eyes is different, the chin is not quite the same, and there's a dimple." Cha-cha argued.

"I am not the guy that you're looking for!!!" Syd argued, before being shocked once again.

"No talking," Cha-cha stated.

"He was the only guy in the doughnut shop, right?" Hazel asked Cha-cha, taking another bit of his (Syd's) tuna fish sandwich.

"Was there anyone else in the doughnut shop with you last night? Did Carolina Rose stay at home and not come with you to the shop?" Cha-cha questioned.

"I don't know, just the waitress and two kids."

"Two kids? Elaborate." Hazel ordered.

"Uh, uh... they were both weird. They both drank black coffee, and the boy said something about coming there when they were younger, and how they had their first date there-" Syd confessed, looking back at his old memories.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Cha-cha asked Hazel.

"Italian for dinner?"

"Focus. I'm talking about the kids. Time travel's a bitch."

"Especially if you aren't using a briefcase."

"What if the boy is Number Five and the girl that was with him is Carolina Rose?" Cha-cha suggested.

"It's sort of hard to wrap your head around..." Hazel grumbled.

"What else did you and the boy talk about?" Cha-cha demanded.

"T-that's pretty much it. H-he just wanted directions to some department store, I swear." Syd sobbed.

"Department store, eh? Elaborate."

---Meanwhile: Five Pov ---

I kept my usual fake smile plastered on my face as Klaus sat on the chair in front of the male staff member that I had previously talked to, Lina standing by my side with a hand on my shoulder. She smelled of sweet wisteria flowers with a touch of gunpowder, the two very familiar scents managing to calm my annoyed nerves down.

I could sense the glances, stares, and whispers of other staff and patients as they peeked at us through the clear glass walls. Lina in her twenties had been stunning even during the apocalypse where we couldn't dress appropriately or wash often. And right now, Lina was wearing a casual suit with a dark grey trench coat. A black turtleneck clung to her slim figure and a skirt completed the look, her black hair having been left down naturally. Her pale skin contrasted from the dark garbs, making her look even fairer.

Lina's blood-red eyes were filled with amusement as she let Klaus take control of the situation, plump red lips drawn up in a provocative smirk.

"Like I said to your son earlier, any information about the prosthetics we build is strictly confidential. Without the client's consent, I simply cannot help you." The male staff drawled, his eyes darting between Klaus and Lina.

"Well, we can't get consent if we don't have a name," I argued angrily.

"That's not my problem. Sorry. Now, there's really nothing more that I can do, so-"

"And what about my consent?" Klaus asked, which seemed to be a high thought that's just been said out loud.

"Excuse me?"

"Who gave you permission... to lay your eyes on my wife, and your hands on my son?" Klaus continued, earning a confused glare from me. Just what the Hell is he talking about?!

"What?" The three of us muttered simultaneously.

"You heard me," Klaus replied calmly.

"I didn't touch your son. And it's not illegal to look at a beautiful lady, now is it?"

"Oh, it is. Don't worry. I'll make you that you'll pay for that later on." Lina commented, the smile not leaving her face as she threatened with a casual tone.

"Oh, really? Well, then how did he get that swollen lip, then?" Klaus said, pointing to my slightly swollen lip from the heated kiss Lina and I had earlier.

The only thing was that it was practically unnoticeable. Before any of us knew what was happening, Klaus had already pulled his arm back, ready to attack.

"He doesn't have a swollen lip-"
