{Felicty's POV (unedited)}

Flashback

Everyone had cleared out of the room, leaving me with my biological uncle, Adrian, and my brother.

Memories started resurfacing, and I knew what they said was true. They waited for so long, for their real Alpha and Luna, and I am more than happy to guide them and lead them, to have a pack for the greater good.

Adrian stepped forward as he tried to take the silver chain out. As soon as his hands covered with those identical black gloves he had used to help us escape the torture, he immediately retreated his hands.

"What the hell is that thing made of?!" he screamed.

"What happened Adrian, why is there a need to scream?" the Alpha asked him calmly as he took out a book and flipped the pages, not sparing a glance at him.

"How can this burn me even with my beautiful gloves that had removed every poisonous thing come to me?!" he dramatically exclaimed as he looked at the gloves.

We laughed at him. "Maybe it wants a vacation, somewhere away from you." Marc said, as he laughed even louder.

Adrian, still looking at his gloves, mumbled angrily, and then sighed. "Awh c'mon... temme that ain't tru...." he said in an adorable voice.

I laughed instead. The Alpha looked back at me with a smirk on his face and said, "Felicity, take off the necklace yourself."

I looked at him and consented to his advice. My hands reached for the silver necklace, that had been there ever since I was a child, and fiddled with the lock of the necklace that kept it intact.

As I tried unlocking it, I thought about those words of my uncle.

No wonder, I never was able to remember memories from my childhood. This all made sense now. The reason why my father always paid more attention to my sister, the reason why they let me off so easily. I remembered those words of the Alpha when I was in the hospital, to my parents:

"You of all the people should have left her where you found her."

I sighed as I remembered those memories of being unloved, and the pain still remains fresh in my heart.

Suddenly the lock clicked and I removed the chain.

I heard soft voices, and immediately looked up to see who else was present in the room. But there was no one else, except us 4 people.

The voices grew louder, and it hurt my head a lot, that I almost screamed out in pain. As I kept looking at the people in front of me, begging for some help, the voices reached to a point where I couldn't hear what they said no more, as those noises grew louder, and was no longer a whisper. My uncle, Adrian and Marc looked shocked, as they tried to talk to me, and their worried faces in front of my face.

"Concentrate."

That voice should be in my head.

"I am in your head. Concentrate on those voices, and try pulling an invisible block upon them, until you can hear them no more."

Why is there another person in my head?! Tears started to fill my eyes, as my head pounded.

"CONCENTRATE AND DO WHAT I SAY!" the voice, who tried helping me before, screamed at me making this pain in my head worse than what it was.
