Note, these are not their wolves, her's is white, and her mate is black as most Alpha's.

{Felicity's POV (unedited)}

A boy, who loved his parents and family with all his heart, as well as his pack as he was supposed to be the future Alpha. A perfect life he lived until the age of 6, when he lost them. Not just them, also his whole pack and his status. He was still a small boy, but had the intelligence which helped him survive the wild. Abused and forgotten, he escaped his worst nightmare, alive with a new friend he had made while he survived the loneliness.

He knew fate wasn't easy on them, but he also knew that stars cannot shine without darkness. The words his beloved mother used to tell him, whenever life went too hard. So he decided loneliness wasn't the key, it would just drown him deeper, so he set upon saving those who faced the same torture he did, and those who lost their families, due to the anger and hate faced by many.

He and his most trusted men, at the age of 14 found a plan of making an empire, and the empire of those who they had saved, providing a place for them to live safe, and a place for them to feel loved.

He lost, he won. But, he never gave up. Today, he is the most powerful Alpha founding the Rogue empire, and he continues, to do what his pack has aimed for. Wolves, put their paws together, Humans put their hands together, striving for a peaceful world.

And the best part of it all is?

He is my mate.

I was walking down the hallway, the same one I found he was mine. The off white color of the walls gave away to the light that made it look golden, while the tiles on the floor gleamed, reflecting off the light.

People around me stared in awe, some with respect and some excited, for their soo to be Luna.

Damon had told me to get used to the pack, to feel comfortable with the members, so that I could get ready to take my position as Luna by the next week.

I held my head high, and smiled warmly at everyone who passed by me. He had gone through worst but that's made him the best.

And that's another reason why people look up to him.

Status, as I mentioned before, wasn't something I seeked anymore. I looked forward in winning the affection from the people, the love that made my heart warm and that made me love my self even more.

I was heading to my Mate's office, since he arrived today morning, after a treacherous month of not meeting him. It's been 7 months since we've met, 1 year since my life turned up and 2 years since I left my previous pack.

Time counts, waits and runs, but makes sure you make it through all obstacles so you would receive what's meant to be yours in the end.

His scent spread around the hall way which meant he was there. My palms were sweating, I was nervous of his reaction of our reunion after a month.

We got along pretty well, but I never got the confidence to tell him that I loved him. We waited our whole lives for each other, and nothing could make me much happier.

I finally reached his door, knocked it twice. Thrice.

Hadn't he noticed I had come?

The door was unlocked, so I welcomed my self in his room.  I saw him standing against the table, listening to a slow song, with him nodding his head against every line she sang. "He's so engrossed in the music, no wonder." I thought.
