Jinmi POV
I brought Phoenix back to life and I smiled with teary eyes. My tears landed on his cheek. I heard someone coming. I knew it was Suihe so I turned into a butterfly and quickly got away from Phoenix. I saw how Phoenix woke up and Suihe told him how she went through everything to bring him back...she lied to him when I was the one that brought him back...
I left not wanting to disturb him especially since I know how much he hates me...I accidentally killed him because I thought he killed Renxi and I's father and The Wind Immortal.
Days Later
I saw how Xufeng asked Suihe to marry him. My heart immediately broke...why did I have to do a foolish thing? Like kill the love of my life because I thought he killed my family...Now the love of my life is marrying the women that murdered my family...
My life couldn't get any worse, can it?
Xufeng hates me...he even used the frost flower that I gave him as a gift to Suihe. I sighed and made my way home. I ran into Runyu on the way. I walked past him with no emotion but then I felt him back hug me tightly.
"Mi-er, when are you gonna stop running after him? He doesn't deserve you, I do. I love you more." As he said those words I internally rolled my eyes. I got out of his grip and looked at him.
"Why do YOU keep running after me? I love Xufeng. I have ever since we met and i am unfortunately NOW realizing it." I sighed and walked to my room in the palace shutting the door behind me. I then went to sleep exhausted.
Renxi's POV
I watched as they fought with each other. I sighed knowing that I'll never be the one Runyu wants. I turned around and walked to my room shutting the door behind me and going to sleep.
