Author's POV

After that incident with witnessing Xufeng asking Suihe for marriage, she asked Runyu for marriage. Runyu was so happy and had everything planned until one night, Jinmi was going to go talk to Runyu until she heard him having conversation with a woman, Suihe.

Jinmi had overheard Runyu having a conversation with Suihe in his office. She was shocked to hear the Runyu had knew that if Suihe controlled Xufeng then it would make him look like he killed her father and aunt. It would make Xufeng look like a killer and it would make Jinmi hate him and want to kill him.All those plans would soon make him the Emporer. He had been behind it. Suihe was the killer and she manipulated Xufeng into thinking that she saved him.

Suihe teleported out of the heavenly realm and Runyu got up after hearing a noise from outside his office. He opened the doors to see Jinmi looking at him with hatred. She had now knew everything and that caused them to have an argument in the middle of his palace. Runyu was starting to be obsessive with Jinmi but she didn't want anything to do with him.

"Your love is fake! You don't love me your using me to get what you want!" She yelled at him in pure anger. His eyes widened since she finally had figured out everything. He gripped her shoulders to make sure she wouldn't run away, to make sure she would listen.
"Jinmi! Jinmi listen to me! I love you. I really love you! I did all of this for us, so that we can be happy and spend the rest of our lives together...don't you see my dying love for you? Your mine! Not Xufeng's. You will always be mine!"
"No...your a manipulator, a narcissist, your OBSESSIVE! I DONT LOVE YOU!"
Suddenly as Jinmi spoke those words, The Jade Emporer had déjà vu. He heard those exact words from Renxi. He had gotten angry but didn't show his hatred.
"I've been all used up by you....you can let me go now...please I'm begging you!" Jinmi gasped for air as she spoke to Runyu, crying.
"Please just listen! Take a good look Mi-er. I love you I really do love you! Don't be afraid of me! Don't abandon me!"
"You don't love me! Since the beginning you've only loved yourself! You say it but you don't LOVE ME!"
"That's not true!" Runyu grabbed Jinmi's wrist and put her hand onto his heart.
"Listen! You can feel it right? You can feel that I love you, right??!!"
"Even if I'm dumb, I'm not that dumb!"
"You've gained everything you wanted! Everyone respects you now! Your the heavenly Emporer! What else do you want? All I wanted was My Xufeng...but why didn't you allow it? Now he doesn't love me! He hates me!! And now he's marrying the person that killed Renxi and I's father! LET ME CONGRATULATE YOU NOW! YOUVE GAINED EVERYTHING YOU WANTED! Please...let me go..."

Authors POV
Renxi ease-dropped on the conversation that Jinmi and Runyu were in the middle of. She had found out about his scam and about how he lied to Jinmi in order for them to be married. It broke Renxi's heart seeing her sister in so much pain and it broke her hurt even more to see another person from Runyu's life slip away...

"Mi-er how could I let you go? How? I love you. I love you so much it aches. I can't control myself around you...Like o told you before, I did all of this for you...I never desired anything until I met you. You are the one thing I'll never let leave me! You agreed to marry me...so you know how much happiness I felt in that one moment? I loved you even more when you said that-"
"Enough! You don't even know what love is...you don't understand it. You'll never deserve love...at least from me."
Renxi POV
When I heard what Jinmi said my heart dropped.
"You'll never deserve love, at least not from me."
Is she going to tell him I'm his real fiancée? No Jinmi no! I don't want him to know yet.
"Starting today, I'll never trust you." Jinmi tried leaving but Runyu caught her.
"I was wrong I know I was but Mi-er, You can do everything but leave!"
"Not your not, I'm the one who is." She sadly giggled then took out the scale that had been given to her by Runyu while she was in the mortal realm. She let it fall to the ground and walked away from the Emporer.
Jinmi has saw me and gave me sad look then continued to walk to he room. I looked at her in worry.

Jinmi is the only one I have left. I can't lose her no matter what. I won't ever let her do anything that will put her life on the line.
