Interview with @kingsofmuke

How did you find out about wattpad?
I found WP through an advertisement after I had finished reading through on 1DFF.

At what age did you start to take an interest in writing?
I was six when I finished my first "book" and I loved the amount of pride that gave me so I kept on writing.

Do you feel pressure to update due to the amount of readers you have?
I do not feel pressure at all. My lovely readers understand that school and after school commitments are in the equation so they understand that I won't be able to update everyday.

Who would you say is your biggest inspiration as a writer?
My biggest inspiration(s) are Ed Sheeran and Ellen Hopkins. They make words seem like beauty upon masses of hysteria. It's beautiful.

Do you have a favorite out of the books you've written?
I do! It's currently my Calum fanfiction, Fingertips.

What is your greatest challenge as a writer?
Pleasing myself. I always write something and find myself displeased so I battle myself to erase it or keep it the way it is. I can never satisfy myself with what I've written.

How has writing affected your life?
It's something that comes with me everywhere I go. My parents are fully aware of me wanting to write and support me all the way through it. Writing is basically a common ground for my parents and me. It has also allowed me to make some pretty amazing friendships (Kayla, Emma, Kat, Angelique, Tina, Dallas, Nix, and so many more).

Have you really just sat down and taken a few seconds to realize just how popular your works have become?
Everyday. Sometimes I'll just click on my profile and check to see the list of my books and cry a little because it's honestly all I've ever wanted. To be noticed for something that I love doing.

Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
Write because you love it, not because you think it'll get you somewhere. Don't be afraid to take chances with your writing, it's yours and it is beautiful.

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans/ supporters?
Thank you for being there every step of the way. I would have absolutely nothing if it weren't for you and the lot of you that told your friends and got it going for me. Thank you so much. I love you guys so much.
