I see a yellow Soma fall into my hand and I swallow it as I try to compose myself.

Then, I turn-back around to tell Ben that it is time for him to leave my office. Being around Ben is not good.

"Get out," I tell him. Next thing, I know is that Ben stumble into my couch and then quickly run out the door as he blushes.

He is so cute. Stop that Henry you can not think like that. Remember you need to focus on finishing the reports for today.

The day before, The Director told me that he will be training me for the next director position that will open up soon after he retires. Therefore, I was given a lot of reports and information to read and look through till the deadline which was next week.

I just could not stop myself from thinking about Ben. Sure, Lenina, was a good fuck, but that was all it was. After all, in New London, we all belong to everyone.

So, why is my brain only think about Bernard?

It all started, when I got drunk one day and Ben came to pick me up from a party Wilhelmina threw. Even though I know that he doesn't like me or ever want to be in the same space as me.

"Beta plus...what took...so--," I began to say but I did not get to finish because Ben drop me.

How dare he drop me on the ground and then smile down at me. How dare Ben look so beautifully perfect with his aqua green eyes when he was being mean to me. It just made me want to tease him even more.

"I do not know why I even try with you," said Ben in an angry tone. Seems like Ben does not like my Beta joke. He never does.

By the way, I also love to call Bernard the nickname Ben which I only call him that in my head. Shhhhh do not tell anyone it's my most keep secret.

I just laugh as he grabs my arm and puts it over his shoulder to get me off the floor. There were only a few people left at the side-bar of the party. Ben help me to walk as we leave the party. Then, he takes me to the train station that is at the middle of New London.

On the train, Ben finds some space for the both of use. I sit next to him in silents and we waid for my stop.

When I sat down, I remember why I called Ben the nickname Beta plus. It's because Ben's name starts with B-E and + because he is an alpha plus. I love how he gives me a stare that tells me that he is angry, but he never says anything.

I start laughing and call out for Ben.

"Beta plus...Beta plus...Beta plus," I say the nickname louder and louder.

"Shut up," he quickly reply.

Ben got a yellow Soma and swallowed it.

"Sorry. What do you need Mr. Foster," said Ben in a calm and collected voice.

I need to stop remembering the past. So, now I was going to take my own advice and go to one of Wilhelmina party which she will throw tonight. After all, every Alpha has a duty to want a Beta then have sex with.

I knew that I need to stay and finish my work, but I needed to relieve some stress.

When I got to the party it was already in full swing. I could see that a several of people were making out and moving to the music at the same time. In a couple of seconds, I found myself in the middle of the dancing crowd with horny half-undress betas.

"Hi," said a ginger hair Beta as she walks up to me in her tight white dress.

"Hello," said a brunette Beta plus that soon follows us and greets me in his white casual suit.

We somehow end up making out with each other and dancing to the music like the rest of the crowd.

After all, we all belong to each other in New London and that is how it always has been.

I woke up the next morning with a headache to which I grab my Somas pen.
