Luke
Entering an unknown place with someone is isn't really a good idea. I know someone's following me, I can hear goddamn footsteps for crying out loud. I decided to stop in the middle of the forest to sit below the isolated tree. I heard the footsteps dematerialize. I went around the other side of the tree and caught her gandering on the other side.
"What are you doing?" I said looking at her uncertainly. She slowly turned around revealing her eyes full of panic.
"I-I was j-just wandering a-around." Aspen stuttered, I chuckled at her nervousness and walked closer to her.
"I'm sorry it's just I thought you were a ghost." She replied. I observed her features, her hair was glowing because of the moonlight, her eyes sparkled, and the way she bit her lip when she was nervous.I stared at her in awe. There was enough space in between us for me to tuck a stray hair behind her ear. She was beautiful.
"Luke, what are you doing?" She whispered, looking straight into my eyes.
"You look stunning." I blurted out subconsciously but soon realized what I said.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. Forget everything I said and leave me alone." I snapped. I can see her taken aback by what I said. She sighed in defeat and started to walk away. I can hear her muttering curse words and my name under her breath but I shrugged it off and went further in the woods.

Aspen
When Luke was out of sight, I ran because, well, I'm scared. I climbed back to my room and closed the window.
"Where were you??" A voice startled me and covered my mouth with my hand refraining myself from screaming. I turned around and saw Mason holding a bag of Cheetos.
"Jesus! Mason, you scared the soul out of me." I breathed out.
"Pffft. Now tell me where were you." He said in a serious tone.
"Well,IwasatthebalconyandthenIsawatallsilhouettewhichIthoughtwas aghost, sodecidedtofollowitandthen itledmeintothewoodsandturnedoutobeLuke." I said all in one breath, slightly hyperventilating afterwards while Mason tries to process everything I said.
"You what." He facepalmed.
"I'M SORRY!! I WAS CURIOUS OKAY?!" I whisper-yelled, trying not to wake our parents up.
"Yeah, alright. As long as you're safe." He dropped the subject. I took a look at him, realizing he was on his onesie.
"Why are you on your onesie??" I giggled and grabbed my phone opening the camera app.
"NONONO! WAIT!!" But it was too late. I already took a picture of him. I covered my mouth so that my laugh would be muffled.
"That picture stays on your phone ONLY. Got it?" He said in a bossy tone.
"Yeah whatever." I giggled.
"I'm sleepy... Night Aspen." Mason yawned and came over to me to hug and kiss my forehead. I mumbled my last goodnight and plopped myself on my bed.
