Sehun never looked at me with such defiance. His taller frame blocked the view of hell below. He was much younger and impulsive than I was. I admit that he was very skilled with his weapon. He has a dark future ahead of him.
"Don't just sit there, Jongin." He chastised with eyes reflecting the obsidian floors that seem to puncture out my soul.
I smirked. "Oh no I won't. It would be such a tragedy for us all if I spectate."
He rolled his eyes on me and stared below the balcony. The children of the imperium gathering at our doors was a nauseous sight to see. I readied myself. I was the highest ranked member present so I had to lead. I tightened my hold on my knives and patted my side pocket to check if my pistol was there.
Before Sehun could make his dramatic entrance, I jumped off the balcony and landed with expert footing. I managed to knock some of the enemies down. I feel exhilarated as I always do when I am fighting. I held my knives in a defensive position and charged at more imperium members.
I saw a quick flash of Sehun doing the same. He was whipping different weapons in speed that I could not rival. That guy is gifted, I can tell much.
I continued battling until my blood ran cold. No, no he wasn't supposed to be here. They said he would be taking care of the other matters.
I looked up and met a familiar face. A face of an angel but a heart of a demon. The human embodiment of Lucifer.
He was wearing normal clothes as any teenager would had. The only things that sets him apart from normal are his eyes. Eyes which burned with the fires of the underworld.
"Kim Jongin." He cocked his head sidewards in a psychotic way. "Your time is up."
Before I could react, my left leg was gone and so was my dignity.
